Kyocera Duraxtp E4281, Black (Sprint)

Worked out great. Had to call Tmobile to get it activated without a sims card. They tried to get me to buy a new sims card, but moms old flip did not have one, to begin with to be activated. Insist and they will activate it for you with the model #inside the phone. Its a very sturdy phone. Has decent camera for what it is.

The phone I was sent "sold by EBwireless and Fulfilled by Amazon" could not be activated on the Sprint network. I tried online first and when that failed I used Sprint's online chat for help. They said the phone's ESN was not in their database and therefore could not be activated, but that I could take it to a store and see if it can be added to the database. I went the next morning to a Sprint corporate store (not owned by a third-party and operating under the name, an actual Sprint store) and the manager there tried to add the phone, but told me the system kept giving an error that the phone was "invalid" and there was nothing he could do about this.The phone itself is very sturdy and I still intend to get a legit one that can be used with my existing Sprint account. I am just sorry to say that it will not be one from Amazon. For me it turned out the price here was too good to be true. Other verified purchasers apparently had no problems activating theirs, but I was not so lucky.

My mother lost her phone and I needed to find her a replacement one that was not a smart phone. This is perfect for her, just dial and talk, none of this fancy swiping needed, or worrying about breaking the glass from an accidental drop. The phone is durable. I did make the mistake of going to Sprint to have it set up and they told me it needed a sim card and to have one ordered. I called Sprint and they activated the phone no problem, no sim card needed, its working fine and my mother is happy. order is restored

Arrived in excellent condition and prompt shipping! Phone activated and updated it’s firmware and PRL on Sprint network with no issues, needed a durable device that would do all the basics-make & receive calls + texts, not break if dropped on accident a few times, even take some pictures or video and have the option to link up with Bluetooth if necessary. (For my mother who refuses to use a smartphone and the limited “basic” flip-phones offered nowadays (such as the Alcatel Go-Flip that she dropped) were cheap-feeling and hers in particular had software glitches from the get-go that updates wouldn’t fix and owning this Kyocera DuraXTP easily beats being locked into a monthly lease for a headache hands-down! Would gladly do business again!

Very durable but bulky to carry around

We have had many of these phones at the business where I work. The guys can drop them on concrete floors without problems and the camera works great too. If you need a tough flip phone that still has internet options, this one is for you.

Do not buy it from any of these sellers. I bought it from BHS GLOBAL as brand new. First, the phone was NOT NEW. Second, I couldn't activate it with Sprint. Third, the cable and AC adapter are not from Kyocera, they sent it with some cheap charger. They sent it in a regular white box with a sticker of Sprint on the top. As you can see from the pictures, they didn't take the time to even clean the phone from residues that were very visible.Going in details, the phone was already in use when I checked the "Life Call Timers" even though it was marked as New. Save yourself from wasting your time waiting for this phone to arrive to you. You will end up disappointed or if you are lucky you might get an authentic one but thats on you.
