One of the very, very few engine oil additives worth using because it safely works as it claims to work!
In the past, I have rarely been impressed by engine flushes (or other additves). Instead, my practice was to do a an annual short-interval oil change (about 600 - 700 miles) with an oil with high cleaning abilities (such as Penzoil yellow bottle or Havoline) and a first rate oil filter. This way, I was satisfied that my engine was being cleared of most of the damaging under-20 micron wear particles. As oils improved, and change intervals extended, I felt such a periodic cleaning was ever more important. To this "rinse" practice (which I now do less often) I have also added the use of Lubegard Engine Flush at each oil change. Visit the manufactuer's website, and you'll be impressed. This product doesn't rely on harsh solvents, but instead on powerful oil-based detergents and surfactants to thoroughly clean an engine without damaging seals or engine components. If you need to save a little cash, after a couple of uses, you could likely use 1/2 a bottle per oil change, especially uf you run synthetic and a top-notch oil filter; but this is my guess, and not suggested by the maker. I have not run any used oil analyses, so I still think the use of a full bottle (especially if you are only changing oil once or twice a year) is warranted. Also consider using their Lubegard oil additive. Even with synthetic oil, I add 2/3 of a bottle at the oil change, and the remaining 1/3 at the half-way mark to the next change. After a few hundred miles or less, my fuel economy improved, the engines ran smoother and were more responsive. Overall, oil changes -even when performed ahead of schedule, using only premium oils and the best oil filters , plus these two additives- are but a small cost over the lifetime of an auto. The additional use of these Lubegard products is still inexpensive and simply prudent, especially if mileage is improved as well as engine wear reduced.

Gently removes Gums and Varnish not carbon. Says so on the label.
First of all some engine flushes require heat to work. This product tells you to bring the engine up to normal operating tempatures before you add it. So strong chance it needs heat to work. One person mentioned that he put it in a container with parts and let it soaka nd it did nothing. He did not follow the direction at all. Second this product says it is designed to remove gums and varnishes so anyone trying to remove carbon and hard deposits has purchased the wrong product for that job. So the guy that gaveit 1 star and bad mouthed the product either can not read the label or could not understand what was written ont he label. His very own review demonstrates he used the product incorrectly and for the wrong purpose. This product is designed to clean gums and varnishes and works ok. You can find stronger products but they are not as safe to use. This product would be best to clean up a car that has had 10,000 mile oil changes or 100,000 miles of conventional oil changes before switching to synthetic for instance or to clean it up. You buy a used car that has a spoty maintence history but does not have any sludge. It is made to be effective and safe for the engine and it's seals! If someone wanted to use it every oil change they could. I have purchased it twice!

very pleased
Great product. Recently installed new high capacity oil pan and I use this flush nearly every single oil change. My oil stays almost clear as water for well over a month after using this 2 consecutive oil changes in row. It definitely works well and keeps your new oil clean for so much longer it's unbelievable. I can't even read my oil dipstick for almost a week because it's crystal clear it's so clean. I use motul eco-nergy 5w30. I don't just recommend it, I swear by it and I refer it to all my friends and family as well and use on their cars .like I said, with a clean oil pan and couple cheap treatments of this, not being able to read your dipstick always blows everyone away when I show them. It's proof in the pudding. (And yes my oil level isn't low by any means for those of you who might second guess my intelligence lol) you can faintly see the shine of it on dipstick but no brown or honey color at all until few weeks or month passes. Until I used lube guard I never had such clean crank case and oil .

Royal Flush
Seems like a decent product. Used on two diesel engined tractors that tend to sit around a lot and therefore don't get as many oil changes. The product will tend to reduce the viscosity of the oil so it will come gushing out when the plug is removed. I have read that MMO and Seafoam can be used in a similar way and introduced for 50 miles before a change. I prefer this and it only needs 5 minutes to work. Obviously the results won't be apparent unless the engine needs to be taken apart but I think Lubegard has a good reputation and it's a no frills product.

Excellent engine flush.
I use this engine flush for every oil change. I idle the engine a minimum of thirty minutes then drain. It works very well. Typically it takes a couple of weeks of driving to see the new oil begin to darken afterward because the engine is so clean internally after using Lubegard flush. Outstanding product.

It ABSOLUTELY works!!!!!
I was skeptical since it is very rare to resolve an engine issue internally with a fluid. This however has impressed me. I have a 5.3l and each morning it will not produce oil pressure for about 20 seconds unless you raise the RPM's. I followed the instructions to a tee and much to my surprise, the amount of sludge that came out with the oil was amazing!!!! After changing out the oil and filter, the next morning was the true test. Well......this morning was the first time in 2 months that the oil pressure was normal on start and the engine no longer has upper end noise. I'm shocked!!!! I will be doing a second flush next week with the same product. I highly recommend for oil sludge removal!!!

Dieses Produkt ist als Spülung des Motors kurz vor dem Ölwechsel gedacht. Ich nutze es gerade bei meinen Optimierten Motoren und es ist jedes mal verwunderlich was mit dem Öl herausgespült wird.

To soon to say if this has cleaned my engine much, hoping it might have removed some probable glazing. Might update in April once the new season is here ..
