Rit All Purpose Liquid Dye - Cherry Red, 8 oz (Brand: Rit, Compatible Material: Wood, Plastic, Item Type: Fabric-Dyes, Color: Cherry Red)

The shirt was white and now a beautiful cherry red!! I used a whole bottle, I wasn’t entirely sure if the cherry red would show up in the shade of red as wanted cause the packaging looked a bit pink and the first 10 mins it was pink but it came out exactly as I wanted!

Worked real well, but the hot water completely destroyed my decades old gauze curtains. They were a lovely cherry red when they went in the trash. Not the dye's fault at all. Just complete misplaced hopefulness on my part.

Could not find this color anywhere around here. But be careful dye does color other clothing so wash by itself for a while or with dark colors.

I had to edit my review of this dye because apparently Amazon's AI is out of control. Anyway....... I used this with isopropyl alcohol for a guitar dye job. Turned out okay. I used a rattle can for the fade. Goes on well. Does not get much darker if you add apply more coats - at least that was my experience. This is the first time using this specific dye, so I don't have much experience with the brand. Usually, a little goes a long way with this stuff, but I dis not find that to be the case here. Still have a halfish bottle left, but that was only one body. So it might be wise to order two to have some in reserve. Altogether not bad. I'll try a few other colors to see if I get as good a result as I did with this.

This was easy to use. I bought a 3 pound bucket from a store and did it in my kitchen sink with hot water. I did a cream linen dress that I wanted to die cherry red.

Bulky sweater turned out really well.

I dyed a white shirt that I wanted to be extremely red like Mario’s fire suit red. I thought it would immediately grab since the shirt was white but it was pink. By the second and third try it got to be a darker cherry red. It kept bleeding for months to come so I just ended up tossing the shirt. Value wasn’t there.

Used hot water & mixed it strong to dye some pine cones. Worked well when I soaked them overnigh

The dyeing process of the dress was smooth and went exactly according to the instructions. However, after wearing the dress, I put it in the wash—and that’s when disaster struck: the dress bled out all its color and reverted to its original shade. In the process, it also dyed all the other clothes in the washer. Luckily, the rest of the clothes were dark, but even so, everything now has a red tinge. :/ Total disaster. This never happened with the other dye color (Dy...) I usually use.

Turned everything pink ! And the instructions were followed! Always used rit powder in the past i dont rate this oroduct at alk it was a complete disappointment !
