High value, install straight forward, no cutting of wires or tapping for me. Display is great.
Not a vine review. I saw a couple mentions of audio quality being poor and no EQ. My iHeartRadio app sounded great, but spotify had little bass. I had to go to the Radio Setting of the Head Unit and change the EQ there and all was well.Install is straight forward, instructions are not worth anything, but just take pictures and ask Chat GPT if its your first time. I didn't have to cut or tap any wires. The car-settings menu is where you'll do most the configuration, like setting buttons and what they do. There are 5 buttons on the left side, but there are 2 buttons underneath them that aren't labled and you can program them. The factory setting password for the "factory settings" is 000000 (if that doesn't work try 5 zeros). That is where most of the tinkering with settings will come into play. Install itself was probably 2 hours working at a casual pace. I probably spent the same amount of time tinkering with the settings. This unit doesn't support a 360 camera plug in, but it may be possible with the 3 video inputs. Alternatively you can use a multiplexer system. I was planning on buying a new truck because mine had no smart features, but I'm keeping it now because I have this. I am very impressed with this. If you aren't electrically inclined, or confident in your ability I imagine you can probably have a shop install it for $150 or so. The 2GB of ram is sufficient, but nothing more. Its not super snappy but its usable.

2014 Ram 2500
The media could not be loaded. UPDATE: Still a good radio but it’s a little glitchy at times. Might need an update but it’s a pain to get hooked to WiFi to check because, as stated, it glitches out. Changes screens on its own intermittently and opens and closes apps. Still works fine, it’s just annoying at times.Figured I’d jump on and give it its first legit review instead of those “free product reviews” that it’s full of. Install was super easy, was direct plug and play. Definitely an upgrade from factory. The size is really nice, I didn’t expect it to be as big but im glad. Lots of nice themes to chose from on the Home Screen. It’s literally an android tablet used as a radio so lots of possibilities here as far as customization. Initial power up was a little slow, now as soon as I turn the key it’s on and ready to go. CarPlay is fast and works great. The built in gps is nice too, I really like the looks of it and the gps accuracy seems good. I’ll update after I use it more if needed. My only complaint is I have 2 subs in the back and this radio didn’t come with rca jacks to hook them up. Not a big deal I’m sure the local audio shop can work around it I was just hoping to be able to do it myself. Other than that, completely satisfied with it especially for the price point. I’ve had several $6-700 radios in the past and this one is probably one of the best for a fraction of the cost.

Works as advertised, with the exception of the rear-view camera. It took a lot of tech support.
2014 Ram 1500 Lonestar, with no steering wheel controls, and no factory back-up camera. This might not apply to you, but I posted my woes.First of all, let me state that this is a pretty nice unit, and works as advertised. Stereo sounds pretty darned nice, not as good as my home stereo, but still, pretty good. One of the supplied cables is a 4 or 6-pin connecter into the unit with the mini-USB connector. Plug this into your Truck's USB harness, and all of your USB functions WORK... nice.Installing the aftermarket back-up camera was... a problem. I uploaded pictures of communications with the Tech Support engineers. One of them is a picture of the wiring instructions in the manual for this item. After a few hours of banging my head, trying to make this work, I contacted Tech Support. (Very good TS).Their first instruction was to "Not follow the Printed Instructions".The wiring harness had a Brown wire (Aux Input), which was the only brown wire that could be hooked up to trigger the reversing camera. It was also the wrong one.Their second instruction: Do not hook the reversing camera RED to the Reversing Light (+).Instead connect the Reversing Camera RED (+) to the red (Courtesy?) wire attached to the yellow video cable.(Optional) Attach the Black camera power supply wire to a suitable ground. It may cause screen flickering. The camera WILL work without this connection, .At this point, wiring at the back of the vehicle is complete.Wiring into the unit:When you open the box, there are several modules to connect to the unit. Connect all of them (You may not need the GPS antenna, or the horn). For the discussion of the rear view camera, there is a 10-pin connecter with a yellow video input cable and the bluetooth and wifi antenna. This is where you plug your video from the camera in.To power the camera, you need to splice in to the third (Brown )wire on the power connector. The first two are the Black and Red wires. This is the wire that the unit sends voltage to the camera when the car is placed in REVERSE. Splice into this brown wire, and connect it the RED courtesy wire on the yellow video cable. So, the power map to the camera is: Head Unit->Brown Wire T-spliced to RED wire on video cable->back of the vehicle courtesy RED wire->Camera Red (+).I hope this saves you the several hours of time it took tech support and me to figure out.

Apple car play does not work
Cannot get Apple car play to function. Connects to Bluetooth but just tells me to connect via Bluetooth when I try to get car play to work. USB link also says failed to connect try another port. Seems like a waste of money if it doesn’t work as described.

easy installation
was super easy to install once i figured out what i was doing. i don’t have a backup camera so i didn’t have to deal with that. if you want the USB in your center console to work you just have to plug it in. really good quality i love it

Looked good, but does not function well at all.
Can't say I'm happy with this completely. Bluetooth is beyond horrible, worst than stock. The latency from when you push buttons to when the screen reacts is at least a second or two, sometimes the Bluetooth stops working but stays connected and comes back when it wants to. LED lights stopped working, have to manually turn them on in settings... just a few things. Everything is done through the Bluetooth app on the headunit, nothing else connects properly.
