The release mechanism works flawlessly 10/10
It works on regular sized drones but it might not work on smaller drones. Smaller drones struggle with the weight. But the release mechanism works flawlessly. Make sure to have a big enough drone to be able to lift this and the payload.

Worked one time out of the package and never again. Maybe I got a bad one but either way was not able to even put it on my drone.
