Perfect for babies just starting solids
I Purchased these for my granddaughter who was just starting on baby food. She was very reluctant to open her mouth with a regular spoon but when I let her hold The spoon with the dipper and covered with baby food she went right after it. A week later she understood the concept of opening her mouth for the spoon and when she transitions into self-feeding this will be the way to go!I love the Bibado brand bibs & Love that you can attach this and their other utensils to the bib so baby can’t continue to throw it on the ground.

Unique spoons
After seeing a video ad on Instagram, I jumped over within 30 seconds and bought these spoons. I was so excited to use them with my 6 1/2 month old! While the concept of these utensils are great overall, they do lack a little bit.For some pros… The dual handle is definitely nice for my son who is just learning to eat solids. The dipper on the back is definitely the best part of this utensil… My baby loves sucking food off of it and gnawing on it with his teething gums. The con here, definitely an area to improve… The spoon is very hard, too deep, and too long for beginner eaters. All other starter spoons are much softer and are less deep, since babies don’t really understand slurping off of spoons. Babies essentially just scrape what’s on the spoon into their mouths, and this spoon misses the mark.I wish the spoon side was made better to be an overall great utensil. My son loves it for now but I don’t see it being used long term as the spoon is faulty.

Genius invention!
Amazing product! My daughter call it the “O” spoon and mealtime can never be this fun. She love feeding herself using her new favorite spoon, I can see she’s so proud of herself feeding every spoon by spoon carefully and mess free and made her look like a big girl! Thank you! I’m a happy mom!

Easy for baby/toddler to use
We've had these for 8 months and it's very easy for my baby to hold them. It made an easy transition at 6 months when we started baby led weaning. Highly recommend.

Baby was never interested in these
Baby preferred using regular baby spoons, no value added in this design

Not for Beginner Eater
agreed with other reviewer that the spoon is not for beginner eater, as the spoon is too hard and deep. Same issue with Bibado's other spoon which could attached to their bib. If you are shopping for baby around 6 months, you could try their short sleeve bib (I love it) but skip or keep their spoon for later.
