I got sick of having my hands burn up from other leashes, I have a golden retriever and he wants to run and sniff everything as a pup would do, with this leash walking him has become a good experience for me and him. With the rubber coating my hands don't hurt and he's a happy pup. He's roughly 78 pounds and this leash has held up through rain, sun, and ponds. You need this if you have a large pup.

Have an adult male Great Pyrenees that was breaking every leash I bought due to his strength and am still training due to being a rescue. With this leash, he has met his match and it has survived the strong pulls when he decides to "squirrel!" LOL very impressed it is easy to clean, material is very easy to grip when wet and strong enough for the extra large dogs. As it stands, I would buy again!
