This cable appeared to have quality insulation and outer covering. Voltage rating on jacket is 300V--high enough to wire lamps, etc. in any country. Slitting outer jacket and stripping the individual conductors was easy enough with a simple cutting tool--without damaging the copper conductor. Strands were conducive to twisting and tinning with a soldering iron. My main complaint is that the colors are Red/Black/Yellow which do not match the standard for flexible cable in the USA, which is Red/White/Green or Black/White/Green. Therefore, I had to cover the ends of the insulated part of the individual conductors to signal the "correct" color for future reference.

I got this cable to add to my LED outdoor lights. The 18 gauge wire is ideal to extend the LED low-voltage lighting in my garden and at my deck. The wire is well protected by the outer sleeve, and should prove to be a durable solution Overall recommended!
