Lovely little inexpensive book, full of information and pictures that show masons and sculptors at work. This is a lovely addition to any history students stash of books on medieval crafts. Nice to refer back to and check information for further reading.

I managed to find this book in the Acadia Library in Canada. It is a superb piece of work, well researched and written in a clear and easy to read manner. I wish someone would re-print it.

I found this part of a series while on vacation in the UK, visiting the Rylands Library University of Manchester. It is well written and beautifully illustrated.
