Awe some clock, keeps good time and looks great.

I read the dimensions, but was somehow still surprised at how large this clock appears on the wall. Since it sticks out like a railroad clock, it certainly needs to be high enough or located where an average person can’t accidentally walk into it. The materials feel very heavy and well made. Therefore, I placed it in a wood beam. I did drill a second hole at the bottom of the wood base for stability, there was only one hanger at the top, and it didn’t feel secure enough for the weight. The hand moves in a continued motion so it doesn’t “tick” which I appreciate. The only thing I really don’t like, is if you look close enough there is a rhinestone on the gold arm inside of what looks like a flower. I really hate that, cheapens an otherwise stunning clock. I plan on using something to cover it, but from a few feet away it’s really not noticeable. I would absolutely buy this again. Great value for the money
