does what it's supposed to do, documentation could be more clear
does what it's supposed to do. I'm leaving this review in case anyone has the same questions I did about it. The documentation is not clear on how many fans each port supports so I bought 2 of these, but they will easily do 12 fans (I tested it) I've got 11 hooked up to mine right now, 6 on one and 5 on the 2nd port with no issues. It is nice that the nexlinq fans snap together and can all be daisy chained easily. As of now, the phanteks nexlinq software does not recognize 2 hubs, and it could use some work as far as granular fan curve control. but it works.RGB controls are good, somewhat limited but enough to get you through, you just can't control individual LED's, however on the flip side the software is small and very lightweight, does not hog resources.

The software needs alot of work. Chinese grade American product
Buy product at your own risk. While the hardware works flawlessly and is easy to wire up, the Phanteks Hub Software is a joke. It has been plagued with issues since its release and every new update just creates more bugs. I have found myself often reverting to older versions since there is no way to disable automatic updates and Phanteks itself fails to host an archive of older versions. The wiring is hard to understand due to Phanteks not properly labeling whatt cables are required for what setups. For instance, if you want Phanteks to solely control the RGB and Fan speed thru the Phanteks program. Then there is no need for their PWM/ARGB splitter wire. But, the splitter wire is required for third party control of either of the two.which is somehow not mentioned in the 13 translations of the instruction page. While this company prevented me from spending $300 on fans. You definitely get what you pay for. Didnt think id get chinese grade products from an American company tho.....

Glitchy and cheap
Whenever I want to change the fan color, all my fans turn off. Also, the color selection kinda sucks and it’s not super personalizable. It’s a pain and I have to restart my computer every time. For the actual fans, the infinity mirror is off center so at low RPMs it looks like they wobble. Just feels cheap, maybe spending the extra $150 on a lian li fan system would be worth it in the long run… However, I thought installing everything and daisy chaining was easy, so yay for that. (please ignore aio tubes i’ll fix it later)

Item worked very well but the return process wasn't good.
Device worked very well when I had the case I needed it for. I switch to any case so I didn't need the device anymore. Their return process isn't good at all. The company charged me shipping to send it back for a return. So I got charged to ship it to me and then charged to ship it back to them. This isn't normal for me when I return items back on Amazon. Usually their isn't any charge to return an item.

3/5
Not a bad controller, but only has 2 fan ports.

Phantek controller
Made linking all the fans easy. I could have done most from the motherboard but I feel this device with the Phantek software gave me more options and less connections/wires on the motherboard.
