The description clearly stated: "can be wired to work in either normally open or normally closed applications." This is not true. I called the manufacture SJE Rhombus and they confirmed that it's false.

I have changed old broken switch with this one, it works fine. The old one stop working completely and I searched the youtube channel before making a call to the local service company. The video tells me usually the issue could be this floating switch does’t work and the pump still work. So I manually plugged the pump’s power plug into the wall outlet several times a day to wait for it to come. Following the instructions of installation, it’s not to difficult to install it by a handy man. At least you don’t need to change the whole pump. The design of separating the pump and the floating switch is good idea.
