I ended up getting 2 of these, model 120hz MSI PRO MP251 E2 24.5-inch IPS 1920 x 1080. This is the newest model from MSI. I've had these for 4 weeks and I am still just so impressed with the lack of glare, and the very even color and even contrast (no weird white spots or dark spots). I had bought 2 Philips 24" monitors that had nearly identical features and specifications, but they had a really serious issue with poor viewing angles, and uneven contrast with strange constant glare. After the Philips monitors, I had low expectations, but when I received these MSI monitors it was a shocking improvement, with better viewing angle, and nearly zero glare. Also, the image has no uneven contrast, it is "even" coloring and contrast, especially if you're standing above or below the monitor, where it maintains a rock solid image. The viewing angle is extremely good, side to side and also up and down. The viewing angle up and down is actually significantly better than another set of Phillips 24" IPS monitors I tried. The front bezel is beautiful with no weird logo or writing or any lines or textures. The monitor is about as clean and plain as you can imagine and that was a huge selling point for me. I don't want to see a big unsightly logo. MSI is the only monitor on the market right now with no front logo on the bottom bezel. This one has no logo on the monitor itself, and only has a logo on the stand. Thank you MSI. Logos ruin products. The power cord is very long so you can actually set the power supply on the ground. The bezel is crazy thin with nearly no borders. This monitor works perfectly on my computer set to 60hz on the video card output. I don't have a 120hz video card but it works perfectly with no flicker at all and the monitor looks sharp and crisp with no visible pixels. When I was using a 100Hz Philips monitor, I noticed it would only run at 50hz on my computer. The color is outstanding with a bit more richness and the skin tones are actually brown and tan not blue-white like most of my other monitors. I didn't have to adjust the colors at all. The VGA port is a huge bonus. And it also has an HDMI. You can buy a DVI to HDMI adapter for $10 and it works fine. Amazing monitor with a semi gloss screen but with very low glare and with no weird moire or cloudiness from odd viewing angles. This monitor has an anti glare coating and so it's designed for people who actually want to use their monitor. The pure white color is very tan and creamy and not blue-white. I really love the cream white color that is more organic and nice and not cold and harsh. This is a dream monitor for office workers and video editors.

Just the right size and Iget bright and clear pictures and a good buy

build quality is 10/10, it was easy to set up on my monitor arm, the white trim to match my setup up looks amazing and the screen clarity is out of the world, theres no lag and i havent had any issues with connectivity, it was compatible with both my pc and console so i can easily swap between the two

I purchased a pair of these to replace my old monitors and I just could not be any happier. Plus, they match the MSI computer I purchased last year perfectly! I like MSI products.. Good quality stuff for sure! Delivery was fast and problem free and the package was placed right at my door making it super easy for to retrieve (I am disabled). Setup was a breeze! The screens are crystal clear and so much better on my eyes too. I don't play games so I can't comment on that aspect but for general every use, yes yes and yes they are very good!

This monitor for sale for just $84 was a steal. The monitor was kind of hard to set up though. The 144 hz refresh rate is nice, and I'm sure this monitor would be great for esports gaming, but it is a bit small so just keep that in mind.

This monitor is great. Not going to lie I installed this for a job I was working on and I love this monitor so much I am thinking about buying more for my personal systems to upgrade those monitors. It has great visuals for gaming/video editing, no issues connecting it to various computers both in testing on Microsoft and utilization on a Mac at the client office.

What a great monitor. I just use this a secondary monitor to my laptop that's the coms for me streaming setup. I got for $80 and couldn't be happier.

Upgrading from 60hz to 120hz is a massive leap. HDR is a really nice touch. Just make sure to calibrate it properly from Windows. Monitor came nicely packaged and it was really easy to assemble and setup. The stand is durable and supports tilting (up and down), but NOT height adjustment. The little dent supports placing your phone in there, which is a nice touch as well. Been using it with HDR on, 120hz, and 1ms modes and no ghosting, dead pixels or anything of the sort. MSI is amazing. All in all, a really solid buy. Highly recommend.

At a given price, the best monitor gives you the most “good bits” without bad compromises. For example, a cheaper monitor might have high refresh rate but poor color / contrast; a more expensive one might have everything but be overpriced relative to what you actually get.
