Absolutly perfect for my cockatiel eggs as daddy bird wont let my girl anywhere near
I bought this a few weeks ago because i knew my girl was gona lay soon, over the last few years shes laid twice (4 each time) but as soon as shes laid 1 my boy gets so aggressive and wont let her anywhere near, he sits on them but obviously not getting enough warm, and when i put the eggs with her she has no interest, but she laid 1 2 days ago so probs another tonight, but this is perfect! It stays at a steady temp and rotates every 2 hours, i have hope this time 🤞🤞🤞 im still worried about giving them the eggs back when their ready to hatch tho 😖 but id recommend this 100%

Good value for your money
Nice product. Easy to use easy to clean. Possibly a little smaller than you would think. I am hatching large duck eggs and there is not room for 12 large duck eggs. That said smaller duck eggs or chicken eggs would be fine. Eggs from different rows must not touch as the front of one row and the back of the next row are moving in different directions and contact will interfere with the rotation. The rollers work on electronic timers, how many minutes between rotations and how many seconds the rollers rotate for. The default is rotations every 90 minutes and rotating for 200 seconds. Both of these values can be changed to suit your eggs. A push button allows the eggs to rotate for the preset time to allow you to see if they are rotating as you require. Eggs rotate very slowly, so without a mark on the egg you will think they are not rotating. Humidity is controlled by squirting a little water through a small hole and allowing it to evaporate. Egg rotation is stopped by simply lifting the rollers out. Not sure if you can do it by setting the rollers out duration to Zero. Heat loss would be a problem if the incubator were used on its own. The incubator arrives in a cardboard box and is held in a inner polystyrene which is ideal for keeping the heat in and still allow viewing of the eggs at the front. All in all a good product at a very reasonable price.

Poor design but worked
Edited review: Seller got in touch and offered a full refund without my needing to return the item. I guess by this that they have found out that there are some problems. However, I really appreciate their honesty and generosity. It's up to others if they want to take a chance but I strongly recommend that you tape the turning wire away from the fan before you start to use it so that it doesn't get sucked into the fan the way mine was. I still have the same problems but my hand turning must have been OK and temperature/humidity must have been constant enough even with the consistent opening to turn the eggs because one has hatched - a rescued pheasant egg mum left it on my lawn and too far from any nests to survive. Pic is of a newly exhausted but frequently chirping hatchling. My original review was as follows: Temperature and humidity is not consistent no matter how I set them. No longer turning because the fan sucked in the extremely thin (about the same as a human hair) wire for turning the rollers and cut it in half so I'm down to manual turning. The turning wire location is a very poor design and should be housed to one side away from the fan housing because you can't disconnect it without lifting the lid and then like myself, you run the risk of the fan sucking the wire in and damaging it. The alarm sound when you remove the top to do anything is horrendously loud - it doesn't need to be this loud and there is no way of turning it off permanently. I would send it back under complaint but I have 7 eggs in it very close to hatching.

Temperature control
Very disappointed, it’s my second attempt using this incubator and 2 weeks in and finding the humidity difficult to maintain. Seems like the humidity is either way under the recommended humidity temp at 30 which you find this happens over night so you can’t make any quick changes or rockets up to 70 therefore taking a huge effect on eggs. It’s totally worth paying that little extra knowing everything is been controlled like it should once set as it should be . Very disappointed .

Consider carfuly - this is for fun not for practical hatching.
For the price it is reasonable I guess. It arrived with missing parts which was unfortunate. Then the one that did work was very inconsistent at actually hatching. I couldn't believe the difference in hatch rate when I upgraded to a proper incubator but that does mean spending proper money. If this is just a project for you and the kids to mess about with this will do fine. If you plan on actually surviving off this, the hatch rate matters to you and wasted eggs bothers you then this is definitely not for you. Temp control seems to be easy to manage but I can only imagine from what I have seen from the eggs that it isn't evenly distributed. Value for money- well it is cheap so you get what you pay for. Humidity control easy to set up but a bit of a pain not having an auto feed for it. Hatch rate - for me I class this as downright dreadful and expected better. I could have got the same from a heat lamp and a bowl of water in a box.

Very good incubator
It was EGGsellent! In just 21 days these little beauties were made. Incubator worked well, even after a few hours with no electric! Which was a big worry but Google said the eggs would be ok and here's the proof! They are currently nesting on me now, at just over two weeks old 🙂 It has been fun and I've donated the Incubator to my local Wildlfe Rescue. I found my mobile phone torch worked better than the built in candler though. All in all, very pleased 🐥🐥

Okkobi Egg incubator
So far so good 👍 I set it up 6 days ago to be ready for the delivery of my quail eggs. The hardest bit seems to be keeping the humidity in check. 5 days after starting my eggs there already seems to be movement in one of the eggs! Well after hatching out 2 lots of quail eggs, it gave up after 5 days of the 3rd time of using it. I've had to purchase an alternative incubator to hopefully still hatch out the chicken eggs i got.

I have run this incubator through 4 batches of chicken eggs non-stop since I purchased it, all with high success rates. The unit is 12 VDC and comes with a 12 VDC to 120 VAC power supply and a 12 VDC battery clip should you want to want to set it up to run from a battery for back up. I like the humidity meter that shows % so that there is no guess work with the humidity of the unit. It will hold about 12 chicken eggs, less if they are large eggs. Mark your eggs with an X on one side and a 0 on the other with a PENCIL (The graphite will not harm the chick) to visually confirm that they are turning, they can get held up if they are touching a wall or other egg.

It is perfectly for small children to use. They only thing is keeping the humidity at 60 percent…
