I’ve been using the classic Real Techniques orange sponge for years — it blends beautifully and feels great on the skin — but I always had one major complaint: it absorbed so much of my makeup. I could actually see my foundation disappearing into the sponge every time I used it. Serves its purpose as a good sponge. Nothing about it really makes this sponge stand out from the rest, so I give it a 4 star.

This looks really nice and matches my set nicely, perfect color and size. I use the sponge the most and daily. Easy to use and apply my moisturizer and liquid makeup. Bristles are dense, full and even. Blends nicely and easy to clean.

Honestly, this was more trouble than it’s worth. It claims to save product, but it felt to me like I wasted more. And it’s just not easy to use.

So the sponge is terrible. It’s supposed to mimic your fingers….. no it just looks like random lines on your face. The application looked terrible! The brushes though are much better.

It works just like having a finger without having to mess your hands up with primer, foundation or any other cream you want to apply. Feels soft and pleasant to the skin and the material doesn't soak in so you lose half of it. I really love this thing. All other beauty sponges cannot compare!It's a good size, good materials and I like the subtle colors.
