Awesome and Perfect
I bought this to take with me on an International trip. In the past I would take instant coffee packets with me but I really don't like the flavor of them that much. I wasn't expecting much from this product but it actually delivered. It's compact, easy to use and taste great. It's also at a great price compared to other similar products on Amazon. I'm hoping I can find more of these in Japan. If you're looking for a convenient way to make coffee on the go don't hesitate to buy this!

Smooth, robust, delicious coffee
Single serve drip coffee like this is not cheap, so you want to make sure that it's going to give you a good cup of coffee. This brand did not disappoint! The coffee aroma fills the room as you make it, and the flavor is really good. Robust without being bitter, a smooth rich taste. I usually like cream and sugar in my coffee, but this one I can drink black and really enjoy the flavor. Perfect pick-me-up during the work day!

Well-flavored competitive pour-over brand
A worthy competitor to the several good pour-over coffee brands I buy (recommending and comparing them in Amazon reviews for several years). Blendy doesn't use fixed-provenance coffee beans (manufacturer's website, in Japanese, declares "Vietnam, Colombia, etc.") but the batch I'm trying (of Blendy "Special Blend" pour-over) did use quality beans: It brews up with serious complex flavor, good black or with milk. My reference standards for quality in these products are Kuju and Copper Cow — also the priciest, $2+ per serving. At $1.12 currently, this Blendy is a decent, but not great, value. The ground-coffee content in each (individually sealed) pour-over filter is scaled for 180ml (generous 6 fluid ounces) of brewed coffee — a typical international "coffee cup" portion. It's a brand from Ajinomoto, Japan's historic food and flavorings firm (name translates "essence of taste") co-founded 1907 by Prof. Ikeda after he isolated monododium glutamate, "MSG," as the active principle in kombu seaweed (used for centuries as a natural flavor enhancer) and devised ways to obtain it more cheaply from fermented grain protein.

Flavor is a pass
Coffee does not taste great, fairly bland and murky. Would not buy again.
