Headphones can’t be driven directly by signal coming out directly from the turntable or turntable pre amplifier . You’ll need to connect the turntable to a receiver or amplifier or headphone amplifier (if the turntable already has a phono preamplifier ) first .

Yes, as long as it's sturdy. This turntable is excellent and deserves a good seat.

What you are looking for is not an adapter but a "record changer", which is designed to play multiple records back-to-back. Not sure if they make them anymore, though. They were popular back in the 1970s.
