Review after 75 Miles of Hiking
Below is my review after 75 miles of hiking. For context, I've owned these boots for a few months, and all of my hiking was done in the San Tan mountains of Arizona. The trails there are a mixture of hard-packed dirt, rocky sections, sand, and steep rocky inclines with loose sand and gravel (e.g. Goldmine Mountain).Grip: 5/5 At first, looking at the photos in the listing, I wasn't sure about the grip, but the boots have done well on rocky inclines as well as sections with loose sand and gravel.Ventilation/Cooling: Neutral. I hike in Arizona where temps are normally on the warmer side. I haven't really noticed a difference in this category in the different boots I have owned. No complaints.Durability: 4/5 Overall they are holding up well. I'm not concerned about stepping on jagged/spiked rocks as the boots seem to be fairly tough, and the sides and laces are solid. There is a small section where the sole is starting to separate as shown in the photo, which seems premature, but otherwise the boots have been solid.Weight: Neutral. The boots are light and durable at the same time. No complaints.Comfort: 5/5 My goal with hiking boots is to not have to think about them when hiking, whether that means being concerned about durability, or having pinch points that poke into my feet. These boots are very comfortable, and don't hurt my feet at all.Quality: 4.5/5 Other than the small separation noted above, the boots are holding up very well after hiking many rocky trails. The tread and grip are great, and the overall construction of the materials, lace holes and laces appears to be high quality with no issues so far.The bottom line is that I have full confidence in these boots, and if this same model is available when my current boots wear out, I would buy the exact same boots again.Hopefully this information is helpful to others.

For me in construction, they last.
This makes the 4th pair of this same boot in 10 years that I have purchased and the surprising thing is that every pair is still up and running, I do construction and after over 2 years of wearing every day to work they start to look a little worn, sometimes I snag them and cause a hole on the side or the rubber part might come a little loose from bending so much, but all are still making miles. I went several months back backpacking for 30 mile trip wearing a pair keen’s, cost a whole lot more and they were not very old, not very many miles on them and what happened, well the 1st day the whole bottom fell off one boot , I tied it back on with paracord, very hard to do. Did that so we could keep going, and on our 3rd day, that morning the whole soul of the other boot fell off, and out with the paracord again, very, very disappointed with keen, but these boots wearing them all these years, never had an issue like the keen brand, SKECHERS have never let me down. My next backpacking trip they will be on my feet and I’m sure I won’t need paracord.

Lots of traction.
Nice boot. A little stiff but should be OK after wearing a while.

So So
A good value but their design is klunky and make me feel like I'm walking flat footed. The hardware isn't finished well and one of the quick lace pieces cut my laces after a few months. They are OK; I'll keep wearing them until they are worn out but I'll buy something different next time.
