My fourth Kindle in 10 years which indicates that the previous 3 have failed at relatively short intervals. But I keep coming back for another one as it gives me an excuse to upgrade to the latest version and overall, despite the failures this is still a good product at a modest price. I ordered mid afternoon day one and it was delivered mid afternoon the following day. It came pretty much good to go out of the box and with my account profile etc already loaded so getting started only took a few minutes. This Fire 10 is a step up from my previous Fire 8 which I had been using daily for reading, surfing, playing games, and occasionaly watching movies. I don't do social media so can't comment on how it will stack up in that regard. But for reading and surfing without fuss, this does the job for me. The larger screen is a bonus and images are super bright. It is light and easy to pack for travel. Navigation between screens is simple. A piece of tech, that at 73, is well within my (limited) tech capabilities to use and enjoy. Hoping it lasts longer than its predecessors but will still comeback for another if not.

Really pleased with the Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet. Bought as a present for my wife who has owned Kindle e readers since the year dot. She passed the original to me and i'm still using it! Of course the Fire combines an e reader containing your library and a web browser. I paid a small sum to go ad free and what a joy to be not googled to within an inch of your life! The app store is full of good stuff so she does not miss play store one bit. Just one thing is missing and that is GPS. I believe the hardware is in there but not enabled. Why not?

Fantastic tablet yet again from amazon! My kids both have amazon tablets and they have lasted years

This is my 2nd Fire tablet, the previous one being an 8" that I had for several years before the battery stopped holding its charge. When I replaced I decided to upgrade to the 10" Fire as I had really enjoyed my previous experiences with these devices. Overall I think these tablets are great value for money and do most things that you want from them extremely well. Setting up could not be easier - you basically take it out of the box and turn it on. I'm not somebody who wants to sit for hours fiddling with settings so this suits me perfectly. I switched it on for the first time and my Kindle app is there, my streaming apps are there, my Amazon account is all hooked up to it (that did kind of scare me when I bought the first one, but this time I loved it!) and I literally just switch it on and start using it. It's even charged up. Perfect for anyone who's not tech savvy or simply can't be bothered with that side of things. These tablets are so good for ereading, internet browsing, games, streaming, linking you up to all your cloud accounts and storage, all on a lovely HD screen with beautiful colour and quality. The sound quality is perfectly good for streaming music and video and if you have an internet connection you are all set for pretty much most leisure activities you could want to do on here. With options for bluetooth, you can even hook it up to a bluetooth keyboard and use it as a mini notebook...if you really want to be productive... In the box there is also a charging cable but it's not very long, so if you need to plug that in a little distance away from you while you carry on using it, then you might want to think about getting a longer cable for it. There is so much to love about these tablets, from the versatility to the picture quality. I just have a couple of little gripes about it: 1. The version of Android on an Amazon Fire is not standard and as a result this means that you can't run all apps on it. The tablet comes with the Amazon App store on it, where you can get compatible apps, but not Google Play store. If you're sneaky and tech savvy (a stellar combination) then there are ways to install Google Play store but the apps you download may be a bit hit and miss as to whether they work properly on the Fire - some will not work at all. In my opinion, this is the one thing that could make me rethink buying these devices in the future as a device marketed for leisure activities should really support the most common instant messaging apps such as whatsapp. 2. It struggles with some graphics packages in terms of dealing with larger dimensions or dpi. This was a bit disappointing, given the beautiful 10" HD screen that is lovely for drawing on and works well with an active stylus, so you can draw straight onto the screen. I have found that it basically will get so far and perform absolutely fine, but then as the picture builds the lag becomes so great that it becomes impossible to use. Very frustrating, but to be fair, it's not marketed for this use and I probably need to save my pennies up for something that is designed for this purpose. It's just a note for anyone who might buy one of these hoping to use it for that. Overall I still love Amazon Fire for the convenience, ease of use, the quality of the tablet compared to others in the same price range and the range of stuff I can do with it. I really enjoy using this device. However, it has lost a star due to the issues I've noted above.

This is a great tablet and would definitely recommend purchase. Used to have fire hd 7 - this is a great improvement and so much more content included. Extremely happy 😊

I started with a kindle, then a Fire 7. This is my third Amazon device for reading my kindle books - and more. Will be using to watch my favourite programmes on the train! It's easy to use and although I was not sure the 10.1 screen may be too big to hold for reading, I have found it better and clearer than my last Fire and is not too heavy. All in all a good buy with the Black Friday deal.

This is my 4th tablet and I still use 3 of them.Very smart and great value.

Die Farben sind kräftig und die Auflösung ist scharf, was es zum perfekten Tablet für das Streaming von Videos, Surfen im Internet und sogar für das Lesen von E-Books macht. Besonders bei Videos und Filmen ist die Qualität beeindruckend. Leistung: Der Octa-Core-Prozessor macht das Tablet wirklich schnell und flüssig. Ob ich nun mehrere Apps gleichzeitig geöffnet habe oder durch Webseiten scrolle, alles läuft ohne Ruckler. Für den Preis bekommt man hier eine sehr gute Leistung. Lange Akkulaufzeit: Die Akkulaufzeit ist ebenfalls ein großes Plus. Mit einer vollen Ladung komme ich bei normaler Nutzung (Surfen, Streaming, Social Media) bis zu 12 Stunden aus – das ist für ein Tablet dieser Preisklasse wirklich hervorragend! Alexa-Integration: Ich nutze oft die Alexa-Sprachsteuerung, um Musik zu spielen, Timer zu setzen oder sogar Fragen zu stellen, während ich das Tablet benutze. Die Alexa-Integration funktioniert schnell und zuverlässig, was den Alltag deutlich erleichtert. Speicheroptionen: Das Tablet kommt in verschiedenen Speicherkapazitäten (32 GB und 64 GB) und ist auch erweiterbar mit einer microSD-Karte bis zu 1 TB. So hat man immer genug Platz für Apps, Musik und Filme. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis: Für den Preis bekommt man ein hervorragend ausgestattetes Tablet. Es ist deutlich günstiger als viele Konkurrenzprodukte, bietet jedoch eine ähnliche Leistung und Qualität. Negatives: Wenig Multitasking-Funktionen: Während das Tablet im Alltag hervorragend funktioniert, könnte es in Bezug auf Multitasking und die App-Nutzung aufgeteilt auf dem Bildschirm etwas flexibler sein. Fazit: Das Fire HD 10-Tablet 2023 ist ein fantastisches Gerät für all diejenigen, die ein leistungsstarkes, vielseitiges und günstiges Tablet suchen. Es ist perfekt für das Streaming von Filmen, das Surfen im Internet und einfache Büroarbeiten. Die lange Akkulaufzeit, die gute Display-Qualität und die exzellente Leistung machen es zu einem der besten Tablets in dieser Preisklasse. Das Fire HD 10 Tablet (2023) macht insgesamt einen guten Eindruck und ist klar auf Unterhaltung und einfache Alltagsaufgaben ausgerichtet. Das 10,1-Zoll-Full-HD-Display zeigt Videos, Serien und Spiele in kräftigen Farben und mit ausreichender Schärfe. Auch die Helligkeit ist für den Innenbereich sehr angenehm. Mit dem Octa-Core-Prozessor und 3 GB RAM läuft die Bedienung flüssig, Apps starten ohne große Verzögerung und auch Multitasking ist für die meisten Anwendungen ausreichend. Besonders praktisch ist der großzügige interne Speicher von 64 GB, der sich bei Bedarf erweitern lässt. Die Akkulaufzeit von bis zu 13 Stunden reicht locker für einen Tag Nutzung und macht das Tablet auch unterwegs zuverlässig. Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen ist die Einblendung von Werbung auf dem Sperrbildschirm, die man bei dieser Variante in Kauf nimmt. Wer das vermeiden möchte, müsste auf die werbefreie Version ausweichen. Alles in allem ist das Fire HD 10 eine gelungene Lösung für Nutzer, die ein erschwingliches Tablet mit gutem Bildschirm und solider Leistung zum Streamen, Lesen und Surfen suchen.

Klasse Gerät

Ich habe mir das Fire HD 10 (2023) gekauft und bin insgesamt positiv überrascht. Das Tablet läuft flüssig, das Display ist wirklich scharf und farbintensiv, ideal zum Filme schauen oder zum Lesen. Auch der Sound ist für die Preisklasse in Ordnung, und der Akku hält lange durch – bei normaler Nutzung problemlos den ganzen Tag. Apps starten schnell und das System reagiert insgesamt angenehm. Ein kleiner Minuspunkt ist, dass manche Apps nur über den Amazon Appstore verfügbar sind, aber wer damit leben kann, bekommt hier ein sehr solides Tablet für Alltag und Unterhaltung. Fazit: Ein gutes Gerät für Streaming, Surfen und Lesen – Preis-Leistung absolut fair.

Leider viele APP von Google store, kann man eigentlich instalieren, aber die funktionieren nicht, mit dem meldung dass sie mit ältere Android entwickelt sind, was überhaupt nicht stimmt, finde ich das persönlich nicht korekt von Amazon Fire HD Tablet
