Crown 160MA 4 Input, 4 Channel, 60 Watt Powered Mixer/Amplifier for Paging, Background Music, Music-on-Hold, Installed Sound, 8-Ohm and Constant Voltage Outputs, 70V, Black

We use this to drive four speakers in our small retail shop. It works and sounds great! There are times that we need to demonstrate noise cancelling headsets and I can play airplane noise very loudly through this amplifier without any distortion. It sells the headsets for us! We use the three inputs regularly. We use the second input for music, the third input for a scanner that monitors the airport tower frequency so that our customers can listen in, and the first input for the airplane noise when selling headsets. Once we play the airplane noise the amplifier automatically mutes the other two inputs. This feature is only available on input number one. I ordered this amplifier because of previous experience with Crown amplifiers. The only ones that I have seen fail have been over 25 years old and used daily. Those were in a broadcast production control and master control rooms.

The 1st unit did not work it had no output sent it back and I had the new unit quickly. It works fine.

This worked very well. Easy to install and powered the speakers I have.

Bought for use as a paging amplifier for a three story building. Seems like a nice quality product and well constructed. Sound quality is beyond what I expected when testing using music. You can't go wrong with this one unless you need a monster in a loud environment. I'm running about 12 speakers, mostly at 1/2 of a watt each. Two are at 5 watts and three are at 2.5 watts. I think I'm pulling around 25 watts or so total.

Worked fine for powering 70V ceiling speakers in a classroom setting. Glad to find a reasonably priced, reliable amp after fooling with a whole batch of defective PYLE amplifiers.

Nice Amplifier, it is being used as part of a paging system. Excellent Sound Quality.

Ordered another amp 4 months ago (Pyle) that worked fine until just out of warranty so I ordered this one at 3 times the price ($150). The difference in quality and ease of use is amazing. Assuming it continues to work, I love it! Would buy this one in the first place if comparing in a store.

Crown/Harmon didn't cut any corners in the solid Mixer/Amplifier. This unit was installed in short-order and I experienced no issues getting things up and running. The instruction were very clearly written and the sound quality was phenomenal. After replacing a decades old system, this amplifier breathed new life into an aging paging/background music system.
