I used this 18 gauge wire to set up additional USB chargers, and LED lights in my car. I ran connections from the existing lighter to two separate spots on the center console and then to the rear LED Floor lights—one for the front seat and one for the back seat.The 18 gauge is the true thickness unlike some of the other i have gotten.This wire was fantastic to work with. Wire has worked great so far. I got the 18 gauge and have used it for adding accessory sockets to my truck, wiring a backup camera (for an extra trigger wire) and most recently installing power locks (needed the extension). Still have plenty left for future projects :)

I've been using this for my solar cable since it's so cheap. Daily for almost a year now I've put 150v volts through it at like 7-9 amps and have 0 issues with it. Big fan.
