I have the Parker Strimmer/bush cutter/chainsaw/hedge trimmer with the 52cc engine. It worked OK for a year or two but always ran rough and needed half choke. Finally this year it just wouldn't start. Having established there was a spark I knew it was a fuel problem. I couldn't be bothered faffing about with the carb so decided to give this a try. It was a straight fit and the machine started first pull and runs better than it ever has. Time will tell how long it lasts but at this price I can just get another.

My brush cutter runs like new after fitting this new generic carb. Comes with all you need except one gasket which is the one between the carb and the engine.Ace price and great quality

My old petrol strimmer/hedge trimmer bought in 2002 was proving to be unreliable. The Mitsubishi TU26 engine was always easy to start and ran strongly, but it started cutting out and the carburettor was seeping fuel from the priming bulb. On stripping it down I found the gaskets were old and distorted and I couldn’t find replacements anywhere.However I spotted that this new carburettor looked almost identical to the original and was at a price that made replacing the gaskets pointless. So I bought it with my fingers crossed and was not disappointed. Replacement was easy (though I also replaced the fuel lines, fuel filter and fuel line grommet at the same time). The machine started second pull and ran well. I may need to do some small adjustments, but it’s running pretty well as it is. I prefer this low cost repair to the alternative of chucking away a decent garden tool and buying an expensive replacement! In all I spent around £20 on all the parts. I think that’s money well spent. Oh yes - it would have had 5 stars, but the primer bulb on the new carburettor is very stiff and requires a lot of pressure to use. A minor point, but thought I should give an honest review.

Fantastic. This is the 2nd of these carbs I have bought, fitted one on strimmer and the other on tiller. No adjustment needed, both fired up straight away, still running great. Very easy to fit. Assortment of gaskets and spare primer bulb is very handy too.

With this carb. You will never have to rebuild a carb again, This carb also comes with a rebuild kit. This is a no-brainer.

Fitted Carburettor to Parker Strimmer PGBC-5200May need some fine tuning but single screw adjustment is simple normal slotted screwdriver only. Simple like for like swop, very pleased

Came to fit this and found that it didn’t include the gasket between the carb and manifold (unlike some kits). To be fair it wasn’t shown in the photos … but what sane person misses this out of a kit of this type?
