I was chewing plastic. I had absolutely no idea. Then I learned about it and was mad at myself for not knowing sooner. Plastic! "Gum base" is plastic. Yeah, I thought I was taking care of my teeth but instead all those microplastics I was trying to avoid were being released right into my mouth. No good. Now what?Enter this gum. Refresh. Yes, the best. "Chew Sap, Not Plastic." THANK you! Plant-based chewing substance—"chicle gum base." Bonus: no "bonus" microplastics! Plus it's really good. A real pleasure. I can look forward to it again now.Three flavors safe for cats to be around (cats are not okay around mints or citrus—especially essential oils since they are unnaturally concentrated)—bubblegum, raspberry, and peach. All very good. Plus the pieces are huge so you can get away with only using one and still clean teeth after meals. I had to use multiple pieces of the plastic-based gum to get the job done. Expensive cheap gum that was.Totally love this brand—very transparent—and love that I found a safe—zero plastic—gum alternative. And this is actually the best gum I've ever tried. So much better. It tastes really good and does not leave that weird chemically aftertaste in your mouth. It works, it's safe, and it's Refreshing…! Had to do it.

Like many people I turned to this brand after learning how many microplastics are released with regular "gum base" aka plastic. (Side note: where is the class action lawsuit? "gum" is a word that originally referred to the tree sap -- & shouldn't companies have had to disclose what was in their products if they're leeching out into your *mouth*?) I find Refresh gum quite similar in texture to, say, Trident gum. Of course the flavor doesn't last as long because these are all natural ingredients. Once you can wrap your mind around that, this is a great alternative!

I ordered a 12 count pack of 6 and only received a singular pack, not the 6 that I ordered. And, the one pack I did receive only had 11 pieces not the 12 that is advertised on the box. Luckily, I was able to contact Amazon support and get a refund. The taste and texture of the gum are okay at best. But, I realistically can’t give this more than one star considering I was supposed to receive a total of 72 pieces of gum and got 11. Never ordering Refresh gum again, and I definitely don’t recommend. Simply gum is a much better healthy gum alternative or Underbrush if you want sugar free.

The mint flavor lasts a fairly good amount of time, but the fruit flavors fade somewhat quickly, which isn't too bad. Texture stays good for a very long time without breaking down which is great!BUT not a single box had 12 pieces, most were 11 and the raspberry was only 10 pieces!! Makes you feel worse about the price.

great tastes in the variety pack. Love the clean ingredients without microplastics that are found in other chewing gums! The overpackagung and presentationis a bit much and probably contributes to the cost which is a bit high even for healthier gum. I love the i gredients, i could care less about the boxing

Awesome gum. So much better than any other sugar free gum I’ve ever had and it is all natural!The flavor is wonderful though it doesn’t last as long as regular gum but it’s worth it. I would love cinnamon and hope they make it.

I really want to like this gum, but it sticks to one of my molars that had an enamal colored filling and I have to scrape it off. If I only chew on my left side (no filling) it is fine. It does lose it's flavor quickly as well, so if you just like to chew, it would be fine, but I find myself just chewing for about 15 minutes and then throwing it away. Kind of expensive for that type of chewing. I'm leaning towards giving up gum all together since I've yet to find a good, non-toxic replacement to traditional gum.

The peach flavor is mild but good. It tastes natural and it is. The chicle does stick to my dental work on one side, and it gets increasingly sticky of an hour or so. That isn’t a big deal though, considering this isn’t laden with petroleum byproducts. I’d prefer a slightly sticky chew to a plastic one any day.Update: the stickiness I experienced the first time was a one off. I’ve tried a few more flavors and garden mint is my favorite. I chew one piece of gum all day while I’m working. This is the prefect texture and never breaks down like plastic gum. This is such a superior gum, it’s hard to understand why petroleum based synthetic gums are the norm.
