Awesome little boat definitely worth the money!

The media could not be loaded. Wow, this thing really moves! It steers nicely too. I got this for my son for Christmas and he was really impressed how fast it zooms across the water just like a real speedboat.It comes with a little stand, which is nice so you don't have to sit it down and mess up the steering pieces that extend past the bottom. When you connect the battery, you know you got it right when it makes a little beeping noise and lights up.The remote to run it needs to be switched on first. I took a photo of where the switch is on the back of it, because for some reason I couldn't find it at first.The battery compartment is done well with two layers to keep everything watertight.You do need to disconnect it after each use and make sure everything is dry.Overall, very impressed with this little speedboat!I would not recommend it for very young kids because it is so fast, but my 9 year old did well with it.

Tons of fun on the family pond. We have 3 total. Battery is the only downside. And whiskey throttle. Boat will just keep jumping and flipping. Super powerful!

This is the closest "toy grade rc" of any kind i have ever seen to being a hobby grade unit . This boat is NOT ideal for your kids to play in the swimming pool in , unless its an Olympic size pool . Although it has a plastic prop i assure you it comes with two for a reason , because if not careful it is very likely that you could easily spin the first apart . With the adjustable rudder on the side it could be dialed in to be be surprisingly competitive with some of the hobby boats of similar sizes. As expected though you are not going to get the same performances (run time , voltage delivery,ect) from this battery as you can see when compared to running a good LiPo battery.

I ordered one and both batteries where bad so I sent it back and got a new one only one battery was good and don't last very long I'm going to order new batteries I will not be buying these boats no more off Amazon

I ordered this remote control motor boat for my husband for Christmas. It was packaged securely and arrived quickly. It comes with two batteries for the boat but you do need 3 AAA batteries for the remote control. The boat seems very sturdy and has a nose protector for the front of the boat. There is also an extra propeller. The whole family is excited to take the boat to the lake when it warms up and play with it. Great, fun toy. Thanks

Ok , I was excited to get this boat. It was talked up by other people. I guess everything has a lemon though. And I must have gotten it. The batteries weren't exactly up to par. After charging them with the supplied chargeri went to a local pond. I put it in the water and took off like a bandit, for about 30 seconds. The battery shut down to low power. I brought it back to the shore and changed the battery. I figured I might not have had it plugged in right or something. Took off again and the same thing happened again. Needless to say I was a little disappointed. So I charged one of my own batteries of the same voltage and it was working fine. The next day I took it out again. This time I had steering problems. It wouldn't turn but a little bit. I was bringing it back and the steering began to work. Today I took out and had throttle issues. It has been a let down all around. I'm not going to say don't buy one. But make sure you do your research. And by the way. It was advertised to run 30 mph. Not even close, sorry. I've just had a bad experience with mine. I hope someone reads this and try 's to make sure nobody has these issues. Sorry, just my luck

It's fast and very fun to operate but it does leak a little. They also sent the black version vs the green I selected which is $6.00 dollars more
