The powder you mix with dog food. The soft chews are more so as a treat form.

A quarter teaspoon provides 256 mg.

I saw a review that mentioned the product, NaturVet No Scoot chews. They contain beet pulp, flaxseed and psyllium powder along with dandelion root and pumpkin powder, all of which add bulk fiber. I know people take psyllium to relieve constipation but if your dog is going without a problem, this might not be what you're looking for. The chew also contains maltodextrin, which is a form of sugar. This formula seems to provide good results but I prefer not to give my dog sugar and will stick with Glandex powder, even though I had to double the dose for one of my dogs and I might have to for my second one as well.

Q: can this be sprinkled on dry food without adding water.

Hello, Yes, of course you can sprinkle on dry food! You do not need to add to water but we would recommend that you always offer with fresh drinking water nearby.
