Works as expected
Very generous bag of baking soda. I do a lot of baking and also use this for random cleaning too. Works just as well as any other brands and on par price wise as others.

Can't fault the powder, just the amazon packaging
I love baking soda for cleaning. It can clean everything! This giant bag is great for me, means I can clean so many things and not worry about running out.I am sure if you are looking at this product you know about how many uses it has.The powder is nice and fine, dissolves easily.Currently on offer for £7.99, well worth the money. My negative is the way amazon sent the item. It wasn't in a box, but one of those cardboard envelope thing and the baking soda had burst it's seal. So quite a bit was lost. It also meant the clip seal no longer worked. Thankfully I had other containers to decant it into.

Perfect for keeping in the kitchen
This is a great 1kg pack of bicarbonate of soda and is food grade for cooking.I personally don't use bicarbonate of soda for cooking, but always like to keep some handy in the kitchen as it is so useful for lots of things. My main use is for cleaning pans. I have a tendency to get diverted very easily, and often leave pans on the hob and forget about them, only to remember when I smell burning all over the house! I have tried all sorts of dedicated cleaning agents, but nothing works except putting some bicarbonate of soda mixed with white vinegar and a little boiling water (boil for 5 or 10 minutes and the burnt stuff comes straight off the bottom of the pan). I have saved so many pans by doing this.Bicarbonate of soda and vinegar is also great for unblocking sinks and drains. I wouldn't be without it.This is a huge 1kg bag, which is resealable. It has a good long expiry date on it (useful if you are going to use it for cooking) and at the current price of £7.99 is great value.

Big bag
This is a huge bag of bicarbonate of soda. It's really useful for cleaning. I always end up using my entire pot of cooking bicarb cleaning burnt on bits off pans, so having a big bag like this is so much more practical and much better value for money.Bicarbonate of soda is really useful for cleaning pans and sinks and getting stains off things as well as using in baking.

A must have!
Baking soda is a versatile household staple. While expensive for the amount, a large bag offers numerous benefits. It effectively removes rust from tools, neutralizes odors, acts as a mild abrasive for cleaning, and softens water in laundry. A staple for all the kitchen

big 1kg bag of bicarb
A big 1kg bag of baking soda (aka sodium bicarbonate, aka "bicarb") that will be really great for lots of uses, from baking, to cleaning.I've been using it as a paste when mixed with water to get the rust off my garden tools, alongside some steel wool, and it helped getting my tools looking almost-like new again - fantastic!Other great uses for this include:- neutralizing odours (eg in your fridge, in stinky shoes, in rubbish bins)- being a mild abrasive to clean countertops, sinks, ovens, removing some stains- an ingredient for making your own homemade deodorant since it neutralizes body odour.- When added to the washing machine it can help soften water, whiten clothes, remove odours and remove stains.- good to have on hand as a fire extinguisher- good for educational science experiments like making homemade volcanoes - getting it to fizz when added to vinegar.

Poor packaging but "it's baking soda"
Baking soda works as baking soda. It's reasonable value. The packaging is OK but not that robust so you need to take care with how you handle it.
