These cups are nice. They look like glass but are made of plastic, which is great for outdoor use. They are a good thickness and will hold up to drops and spills without damage. I recommend for any outdoor or poolside activities!

This is a good set of small, basic glasses. Having broken a glass recently (made of actual glass) it was an incredible annoyance to clean up all the millions of fragments that it shattered into. These will never have such a problem. They are labeled as BPA free, which is extremely important. I also like the "hammered" design which also slightly increases the ease of handling them. They can be washed in the dishwasher and that works fine, but over time they will become cloudy as plastic tends to do. They're not made of something like Triton plastic which would last longer and be clear almost like glass. But, that's not important for everyone, and for basic use they're are just fine.

These are plastic but look like glass. They are a nice quality and stack well. They are dishwasher safe and easy to use.

I got these for our pool side bar in our backyard because glass is not allowed anywhere in our pool area for obvious reasons and it's the best darn rule we've ever kept because these tumblers get dropped or tipped over ALL THE TIME by busy, excited kiddos jumping and splashing and just also having slippery hands when they come out of the pool for their refuel. Have not broke one of these yet and I think we give them more wear and tear then the average user would, so these are family approved!

These are perfect for a first apartment or for patio use. I love the look, they wash well and are sturdy. I think they will hold up for a long time and I love that I don’t have to worry about them shattering outside

I didn't realize just how small 16 oz would be... I love plastic cups for the kitchen far more than glass. I'm always terrified of breaking glass and I just like the feel of a solid plastic cup when drinking. These are the perfect thickness and they feel great in your hand. They are solid and will survive a drop also. They aren't too thick and aren't too thin -- as a picky person that is hard to find. I just wish they were larger. I drink a TON of water, so I guess I'm used to a 32 oz or larger cup... that's not their fault, that's just me not gauging sizes well. That said, these are great for our use as a juice cup, or for smaller kids to drink from. I'm going to for sure check out this company to see if they have this in a larger size as that would be PERFECT.

Update:Another cup broke today, about two months in with very infrequent usage. Buy these only for gentle adult usage.Original review:These are plastic, so you would hope that they could withstand some abuse. However, out of 8 cups in my order, 2 were broken on arrival. The box was not crushed, either.I tried to contact their customer service to see if they could send some replacement cups. They have a website where you can submit a request or chat. There are no chat agents available, and submitting the request has not yielded any response in a few days, not even an automated "we got your message."It's a pity, because they do look nice. My expectations for long-term durability are very low though, as two couldn't even make it through the shipping process.

I didn't read the description carefully enough to realize that these are plastic cups. They give the outward appearance of glass without the breakability. They're quite thin, but easy to dishwasher and keep clean.
