Way waste money spend big dollars when few dollars do trick
I've been playing the melodica for a few years now. I'm also in a melodica band that reps various instrument brands. In my oponion, a melodica is a melodica is a melodica. You can spend over $100 on one, but honestly it might last you a few extra months and *maybe* you'll get slightly better spring action. But honestly, the sound quality here is great, it sounds like a melodica and it does all the things a melodica needs to do. This is a great purchase and has brought a tremendous amount of joy into my life.

Good quality but a few keys were wat out of tune.Probably not a standard problem but I was unlucky I suppose

Much nicer than I expected
I didn't really know what this was when I ordered it. I just wanted a cheap instrument for my 5 year old to make some noise on without wrecking his mom's piano. This melodica itself is plastic but feels really nice and solid. You have to blow through the mouthpiece (or add the tube) to get any sound, and the end result sounds kind of like an accordion. I'm not a trained musician but it sounds pretty good to me and the keys are all very responsive. I like that you can hold it like a trumpet or use the tube to set it down and play like a piano. For the low price its a nice starter instrument for either kids or adults.
