This is a very nice face wash for acne prone skin. I tried this product for the 1st time and i didn't go cheap. I was going through some bad outbreaks and was getting very frustrated with my usual products not helping anymore and it was time for a change. I discovered that tea tree oil works for me, but it really smells. So i shopped face washs with tea tree oil in it, and this product doesn't smell strong or bad at all. I found that this product does help maintain clear skin for me. It's a quality product, it's not cheap and it's not big (4 floz), but you only need a little dot. It actually lasted me 3 months, so it was worth it and i would recommend it. I've tried dozens of products, i have thee entire line of proactive, it collects dust. My skin is very stubborn, it's a never ending battle, but with this stuff i have seen noticable positive results, so i would buy it again.

I bought this for my husband but I ended up using it more than I thought. I had several face breakouts and this stuff cleared it up within a few days of using it. It’s now my go-to for when I have breakouts. I have not tried the body wash yet that came with the face wash so I can’t comment on that.

TLDR: gave me cystic acne and scarring for the first time ever in my life.The long version: I'm a 32 year old guy who has minor acne. Had it for 20 years now, but can usually keep it under control and keep my skin clear. My first week using this stuff, my skin was sooo clear, a spot I had for months went away in a week. I loved it so much I instantly bought a second bottle [hence the second star]. Then, out of nowhere, these red blotches started forming on my face. I never had anything like them before. Two of these blotches turned into LARGE acne cysts, something I had never had before in my life. We're talking huge, gross, size of a nickel cysts. One of which left a huge scar I'm not sure I will ever get rid of. I went back to my old face wash, and wouldn't you know it, no problems since. I have NO idea what ingredients set my skin off like that, but in 20 years of fighting acne, my skin has never gotten as bad as it did using this stuff.

This is not a overnight miracle for severe hormonal acne and it does need to be used along with other acne fighting products but after a month of regular use I can honestly say my sons face looks slightly better, less red, and the number of new breakouts is lessening. This product is non-drying and easy to use, we will purchase again

I have really sensitive skin and lets face it, at 50 years of age I shouldnt get ancne but still do,This product clears it up in 2 days for me without drying my face out and causing more trouble. The only way to get rid of bacteria on the face is A induce more and stronger acid, like the 2% salicylic found in this, or B benzoil peroxide, which drys my skin up till it peels. I have found other products with salicylic acid in it, but for me if its not at least 2% it does nothing.

This is pretty impressive stuff. I used to have a two or three step process but just using this in the morning and at night has kept my face very clear. It also does not seem to dry out my skin that much but I do use the recommended moisturizer/anti-aging cream in the evening. I’ve been using this product for about two weeks and I’m almost positive I’ll be using this for a long time!

This face wash works great for me. It’s gentle yet effective and helped clear up a breakout I had a month or so ago. Much more effective for me than other products with harsh acids. I use in the morning and evening, and will continue to buy this. Thanks for a great product!
