I got this drone for mapping and I can say it was totally worth it. I had some technical issues on my first flight, the drone kept ascending without my touching the control sticks and the automated flights wouldn't start. I was able to fix these by completing all updates on the drone. Since then it's been working flawlessly. The RTH on this drone is the most accurate I've ever seen and I've used parrot and DJI drones before now and still do. The drone is very stable in heavy winds and just flys like a champ. Customer service is a bit slow but quite polite, professional and helpful. I had some issues with connecting the lanyard and they quickly sent me a user guide on how to install it on the controller. This drone has the best connection I've ever seen on a drone. Very strong and consistent compared to other drones I've used. Overall I'd say I'm very satisfied with this purchase. The only reason why it's not a 5 star from me is that the user interface of the Autel App isn't very intuitive, especially the settings tab, most of the settings are just placed randomly and it's hard to find certain quick settings quickly. Also, there very little resource from Autel about how to make the most out this powerful drone, a detailed guide or maybe a video tutorial on its features and use cases would be great 😃. Colors are bit too saturated but picture quality is great. I'll test and use it a little more and update this review in a few weeks.

Using for orthoimagery/3d models with pix4D and working flawlessly. I'm sure some people get lemons but i upgraded all firmware out of the box and have found no issues. As long as you're competent to scroll through settings and understand why something might not work the way you want it to, you will not be disappointed.

This is a stable, strong and awesome drone. Been looking for an affordable high quality drone that can do photogrammetry with high precision, I found this in this drone. I love it so much and I will buy again
