Excellent book. Aggressive search attitude and techniques!

The buzz and hype surrounding this book doesn’t come close to the real world impact it provides. Let this be a signal to the certifying publications that the material is changed, the standard has been set, and we are raising the bar. We will not settle for antiquated information to remain in the educational process and they need to get with the times to stay relevant, or step aside. The 43 authors understood and CRUSHED the assignment to bring the most comprehensive collection of data and experience on the topic of Search the Fire service has ever seen. This will change the fire service for the better. Every firehouse should have a physical copy of this as well as the PDF. Do yourself and those you serve a favor and read this book!

There are many great fire service related books available, but this one is at a whole new level. Not since "The Book of Andy" has there been such an important "must read" book. If you are a chief officer, you are doing your department a disservice by not making it available to your firefighters. Don't rely on them to purchase it. YOU buy it. The knowledge available on the pages of this publication is priceless.

Awesome book! A very smooth read. I thought it would be all over the place with so many authors but it really isn’t. My only complaint is the amount of typos in the book.

Must have for any fire station and any firefighter training. This book/articles will change the American fire service!

I haven't finished going through it, but I have both the e-book and First Grab version of this book in hard copy. It's a wonderful resource that I'll use to help develop training for others, as well as better hone my own abilities on the fire ground.

This book is a collection of small critical ideas. theories, principles, methodology and techniques for victim search. The many writers offer different perspectives allowing the reader to consider many practical options.The book has a great sequence / order allowing the reader to take small bites. Great job on collaboration!

Nearly all firefighters would benefit from reading this book, from probies to seasoned chiefs, it stresses how seconds count and the many ways to shave those seconds off.
