The good the bad and the ugly.Since the advent of mobile phone, I have kept up with all the new technology, but was never prepared to take out a second mortgage to keep up to date with the latest. Consequently, my mobiles were being used way past their time. Recently, my old phone expired so had to rethink. All my research started with factory referbs. Finally, when I looked at the spec for the Shark 9 and realized how much better it is than what I had been reviewing, there was no contest. The elements I absolutely needed was processing power and storage which this mobile gives me and so much more than the cameras, sound clarity, easy intuitive navigation. It comes with screen protector, which I found easy to attach. I can honestly say that this mobile is way above it's quality and spec for the price.The only thing is the weight. It is not super slim, but given all this, that the phone has to offer, it was a no brainer. I even purchased a fabulous suede feel multi purpose cover to suit. I now find myself using this phone all day. It is fast and does everything I want it to.

The phone is very well made and responds quickly, I have a few Black view devices and they are sturdily made and well thought out.The screen is not the highest definition but is ample for all but gaming or video editing, but after all it's a phone!The camera is OK and the expanded ram and tf card slot make it a versatile machine.It's great for the money with features seen on premium handsets.Would I recommend it, yes I would.

Having had a Blackview Tablet and was absolutely very pleased with the quality of the product I bought myself the Shark 9 mobile phone in Fearher Black.I am pleased to say this is a top quality mobile phone with great cameras too and very easy to setup and use.I also bought this phone for my wife in Ethereal Blue who had an older Samsung mobile phone and all I can say is this is a fantastic phone for the money and so easy to setup and use which is great for my wife.There is plenty of memory on board and the cameras are superb.Well worth the money.

First - I do like this phone. Build quality, screen and colours, media playback sound, speed & soothness of operation, the inclusion of a silicone case and a scren protector, battery life and quick charge - It does what it says in the blurb on amazon's page. However, it doesn't say anything about sensors, which have enabled my old Android 10 Huawei P Smart to run Star-mapping and compass apps, which the Shark doesn't appear to have! This is annoying and frustrating. So beware if these are important to you.The worst thing about this phone is nothing to do with the phone but Android 14. The Do Not Disturb, once activated, means that all sound is muted during the set period! On my phone, the volume is completely disabled for ALL media playback (headphones & speakers) although I can talk to and hear someone calling me. Andorid 14 seems obsessed with notifications rather than delivering a functioning all-purpose phone with multi-media capability during the hours of darkness - or complete silence I should say. I have found items online which have raised this problem but no solutions. I haven't driven with my sat-nav app yet, but according to what I read, even that stops talking if DND is active. So I've switched DND off till I learn that it's fixed.

This is the second Blackview I’ve had, the A95 I have still works well, but hasn’t some of the functionality this one does. The Shark 9 is a good, reasonably priced basic smartphone. It gets used for texts, phone calls, reading, listening to music and some card games. I’ve not tried streaming on it, but given the quality of the screen I would assume it would be okay. The internal speakers are a bit tinny but that is easily fixable with a good set of headphones. I have no problems with the extra apps, they are just there and I have no clue what some of them even do and know nothing about Blackview’s own software. I set the Home Screen up as I want and make a few tweaks in the settings to get the phone to where I want it to be and very easily ignore every thing else. As I’ve said it’s a good, easy to use, basic Smartphone.

I bought this phone for my wife. It is her second one. The first one she had for over 4 years .I chose Blackview because it is exactly what she wants from a phone without paying stupid money. It is easy to set up and use at any age. Would definitely recommend this brand. Quality of phone is very good. Screen size ideal.

This was my first android phone from a company I didn't really know, and I've been impressed with the build and quality of the shark 9. It's light, responsive and feature rich. The DokeOS is nice, but does come with some baked in apps that can't be removed - it's my first time using this OS so I got the key the upgrades in line with major Android revisions.The battery life is also very good - I sometimes get to mid-morning and it's not even dropped 1% yet (this morning I unplugged about 1 hour ago, have been lightly using and writing this and it's still 100%)Overall very pleased with the phone - would look to them in the future...

I returned this item because1.. extreme GPS lag making Google maps and drive unusable2. I termittent lossof home WiFi signal3. Frequent loss of mobile carrier data signalI need a phone I can rely on
