One of the key part to any smoking process is the meat rub. For me, Arthur Bryants BBQ Rub is the only rub I use! The flavor it adds to the smoked meats is that "traditional" sort of BBQ flavor. Love this stuff for the smoker. Cheaper than in the store. If you haven’t tried this, it is not a real overpowering seasoning, which allows you taste the meat. Many other seasonings use a lot of chilli powder, or have a lot of salt, however this one does not seem that way.
