Everyday low prices and free delivery on eligible orders. Review: A Heartfelt, Hilarious, and Heart-Wrenching Tale - Where do I even begin? My Dark Prince masterfully spins a modern-day Sleeping Beauty retelling with a splash of Beauty and the Beast, and I was hooked from start to finish. Oliver Von Bismarck—the charming, misunderstood playboy—turned out to be so much more than his flirtatious exterior suggested. And Briar Rose? A resilient queen who grew from a neglected, vulnerable girl into a fiercely independent woman. Together, they took me on an emotional roller coaster that had me laughing, crying, and everything in between. Ollie, the man who always wore a smile but hid oceans of pain underneath, is the heart of this story. His transformation from a seemingly shallow flirt to a layered, heartbroken hero was breathtaking. He’s been carrying a burden of guilt and sorrow that kept him from the one person he truly loved—Briar. Yet his devotion never wavered, even if it meant breaking her heart to protect her. When Briar loses her memory after their unexpected reunion, Ollie seizes the chance to rewrite their story, pretending they’re engaged to win her back. Messy? Yes. But undeniably romantic. Briar, on the other hand, stole the show with her strength and sass. Once a sweet, naive little girl cast aside by her parents, she grew into a force to be reckoned with—a woman who could stand on her own two feet, who didn’t need a knight to save her. I adored how she matched Ollie in wit and stubbornness, keeping him on his toes with her feisty determination. The push and pull between them was electric. Their history is beautifully tragic. Childhood sweethearts torn apart by Ollie’s heartbreaking decision, they reconnect after fifteen years of pain and resentment. Briar’s memory loss adds a delicious layer of complexity, leading to laugh-out-loud moments and gut-wrenching heartbreak as she pieces together their past. And when she finally learns why Ollie walked away… it’s devastating and beautiful all at once. The supporting cast is just as memorable. Sebastian, Ollie’s tortured brother, shattered me. His journey from bitterness to forgiveness was nothing short of cathartic, and his moment of releasing Ollie from his guilt was one of the most powerful scenes in the book. I’m eagerly waiting for his story—he deserves his own redemption arc. The cameos from Romeo, Dallas, Zach, Farrow, and the hilariously chaotic Frankie tied the Dark Prince Road universe together perfectly, and those group chat chapters? Pure gold. However, while this book was captivating, it did feel like the series is losing a bit of its initial spark. Some jokes felt recycled from the previous books—still funny but lacking that fresh punch. And while I loved Briar’s strength, she did come off as a bit too guarded at times, making it harder to connect with her emotionally. Even with these minor drawbacks, My Dark Prince is a stunning love story that explores themes of redemption, forgiveness, and second chances. Parker S. Huntington and L.J. Shen crafted an unforgettable narrative filled with humor, heartache, and hope. I laughed, I cried, and I swooned. This isn’t just a romance; it’s a testament to love’s power to heal even the deepest wounds. If you’ve been following the Dark Prince Road series, this is an absolute must-read. And if you’re new to it—start from the beginning and prepare for an emotional, unforgettable journey. Oliver Von Bismarck, you were worth the wait. And Briar Rose, you’re the queen who claimed his heart. Together, you stole mine. Review: Dark, Spicy Romance - MY DARK PRINCE by PARKER S HUNTINGTON & LJ SHEN ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My Dark Prince is the long awaited third (3rd) book in Parker S Huntington & LJ Shen’s Dark Prince Road Series Continuing Parker & LJ’s series of broody, dark antiheroes… After an accident upends Oliver’s life he deserts his childhood sweetheart and commits himself to a miserable life in purgatory. Blaming himself for all the wrongs in his life he doesn’t believe himself worthy of joy. An accidental meeting with his first love makes him question his choices. Irrevocably drawn to Briar, he finds himself fighting his feelings whist keeping the secret that led them to this point in their lives.after all Brion has her own cross to bare and he shouldn’t be bringing trouble to her door….. I really enjoyed this third book in the series though I have to say I found Oliver much ‘softer’ than Romeo & Zach (from the first two books in the series) and I couldn’t help but sympathise with him all the way through. Briar was feisty and I quite liked her. My only regret in the book is that the character of Sebastian felt a bit unfinished. I feel like there could be a great book for him but I don’t think there’s one planned. Parker & LJ both write stonking dark romances independently- put them together and they produce FIRE! There’s a lot of quirky dark humour in the book and it makes me think they must have had such fun writing it. 🌹 Dark Romance 🌹Quirky Humour 🌹Spicy Scenes 🌹Feisty MFC 🌹Damaged MMC 🌹Billionaire Romance

I'm blubbing - but in a good way! Wot a book!💗 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This book is stunning! A dark romance that matches it's title with Cinderella/Beauty and the Beast vibes, 15 years of love/hate and a love story that makes you weep - but never fear the HEA is totally worth it. Honest! Note to interested parties - find out if film rights exist - they'd be blockbusters! 💥💗😍🤗

Good storyline
I enjoyed the storyline and continuation of the series but unfortunately the writing, or should I say editing seemed a bit haphazard. Some very obvious grammatical errors in there, missing or wrong words, spelling mistakes. Also continuity issues, one of the earlier chapters has the FMC complaining about not wearing a cute dress, but then says she is wearing a dress a couple of pages later.

Parker D Huntington and LJ Shen have written a humorous, passionate, fiesty final installment of the Dark Prince Road heroes and the incredibly strong-willed and sometimes ditzy heroines who love each other in spite of whatever befalls them. Reader already have met Oliver von Bismarck, and his childhood besties Romeo Costa and Zachary Sun. Having enjoyed their escapades and journey to happiness with Dallas who adores books and eating and the almost Olympic fencer Farrow aka Fae it is now time for Oliver. We know he is a Billionaire who doesn’t work and is a philander. But is he and does he? Briar Rose Auer has been in love with Ollie since they were children. He is her calm port in a life of neglect by her parents. She is his everything and then… it is the and then readers will learn and find themselves not being able to put down the book. Witty dialogue, pain, regrets, misunderstandings, moments of sheer levity… aka text messaging threads… lost family, found family and family in general… along with what constitutes and defines the word family. The authors have outdone themselves with this one. Finding pieces which somehow fit while readers try to presume knowledge they are lacking. A perfectly wonderful adventure we are all taken on. A reread is in order as are the 10 of 10 stars I would give it. Thank you both for the laughter, joy and oh my moments.

The book cover was badly messed up and I had to use tape to prevent further deterioration

Trope include amnesia and second chance Ollie and Briar. This gave great depth to Oliver. The chapters went back to his teenage years. Oliver and Briar might well be my favourite on DPR. Don’t let the amnesia part scare you off. There is so much more to this book.

As always you are remarkable in delivering the story. I was unable to drop down the book till i complete to the end . It’s full of twist and turns and you have proved that we don’t need external villains to derail our life , our mind is the biggest villain and our strong hero . Thanks for this wonderful story
