My 12 yr old and I love these boats! We’ve used them at the lake and a pool setting. They are great quality, very fast, and easy to figure out. It’s nice that they come with silicone nose guards because we’ve already seen how much they come in handy. Customer service has been helpful in helping me find extra nose guards to have on hand. The biggest selling point for me in addition to how long the battery lasts and how fast they go, is that they come with a case for easy transport.

I have over 20 years of experience with RC planes, boats and cars.These boats are great fun. I bought them to take on vacation to a beach house. Good range on the radio. The self righting feature is wonderful.I was very pleased to find that the throttle and steering are proportional and it has a low speed reverse. A very nice feature is that you can set a max speed with a dial on the hand control. This let's you set it lower for extended run time, for younger kids, or for pool use.My 4 year old grandson ran it with my help and the top speed set low, which is still fast enough for fun. I would expect most 8 year olds could master these.Interesting safety feature, the boat won't run unless the boat is in the water. You can't accidentally run the motor out of the water making it safer for kids.Battery life is good. When the battery in the boat gets low you get an alarm on the hand control. It leaves you enough power to bring the boat back.You get a reasonable run on the battery but recharge is 1-2 hours. Only downside is you can't buy extra batteries of the right size with the right connector so you can't swap batteries while running both boats at the same time.I had a question that I posted to the company. I got a response the same day by email. Excellent customer service.Recommended! Nice travel case. We will have a lot of fun with these.

I bought these prior to the last time my parents and adult kids were in town. We all had a blast racing them around the pool and my wife and I have enjoyed them since. They do take on some water after a while so the battery compartment is not water tight. I would recommend removing the battery and drying them out with a fan after use. Highly recommended and fun!

This toy is amazing, is easy to get ready, super fast and the maneuverability is super good!

Bought these for our grandkids to play with at the Lakehouse. They had a blast. They worked great and even though they sunk one it worked again after we dried it out.

I purchased the remote boats (2) for my grandson, he is 11 yrs old. He and his cousins have had great fun with them- After using just a few times one of the motors locked up. I reached out to customer service,They were VERY helpful; they took care of the problem. If buying for kids, I would not go much younger - so they can open up and connect battery and make sure no water gets in!Thank You very much!

I purchased these boats for my 7 and 9 yr old grandsons. When they arrived, I was impressed with the quality, but make sure you check that all pieces are there. I had a controller that was missing a battery compartment cover.I contacted customer support, and got an immediate response. They had the missing compartment cover shipped out to me within a day!So not only are the boats great fun to operate in our in-ground pool (even for adults!), the customer service is top notch!

Very very slow. Buy a better boat. The prop is way to small it cavitates 99 pecent of the time. If using IN lake with even the slightest Lilly pad or vegetation. The boat will get stuck or not even want to move.. the rudder some times doesn't want to turn all the way left. We bought it for our kids but even they are frustrated with it. It's suppose to be fun and easy to use but it's more of a hassle when it doesn't want to move or turn all the way. Junk. The speed is a lie the distance is a lie the battery life is a lie. The only truth is it's a boat that should be in the bottom of the lake.
