I have been using this in the simmer pot, you can dump it all, or put in little bits at a time, up to you and the size of your pot. All of the ingredients come packaged in their own bag, except the evergreens, those are loose, so be careful how you open the package they're in. I have a couple simmer pots around the house, so I do a couple little bits of each in the pots, set them to simmer, and the house smells so good. Will be getting more of this, I really like the smell it leaves, almost like I have something baking, but also like a nice day with the windows open and you can smell the trees.
