Tried this new chalk paint and love it! Great coverage, great hide and awesome flat finish! Definitely will buy again!

I used several brands of chalk paint when painting vases or other items. Some are very pricey. This one was not. It went on very smoothly and was a beautiful light blue. It was lighter than the blue on the outside of the container but that was not a problem for me. I did treat the glass vase with a product called, "Slick Stick" before painting with the chalk paint. It helps paint stick better to glass and other shiny surfaces. I did a crackle finish with this paint. The thing I love about chalk paint, is that it is very forgiving and a little goes a long way. I am going to add other colors from this line to my chalk paint collection. I highly recommend this product.

I've tested this paint on a few scrap pieces of wood so far so I can check the quality before using it on any furniture or other pieces I actually care about. The quality seems good and on-par with other chalk paints I've used in the past, but I was surprised at how light the Cascade Blue shade actually is. It doesn't seem to match the pictures at all. It's much lighter and almost more of a robin's egg blue in reality. It's still pretty, but not at all what I was expecting. I'll still find a use for it, but if you're expecting this vibrant teal-like color from the pictures, that's not what you're going to get at all.

The Charming Chalk all In one Furniture and Decor Paint works well. The 8 oz jar is a nice size for a sample for larger projects or to use for smaller arts and crafts projects. The shade of blue was a little bit lighter than I was expecting but it dries well and has good coverage.

No leaks and sturdy container. The paint is bright and well mixed and dries with a chalky matte finish. Paints on smoothly and gives medium coverage with good working time for a chalk finish. Since it's water based, it's easy to clean up.
