This is an awesome case! I got it to replace an Eylar 11.8" x 8.3" case, which is a very good quality Pelican 1170 clone and, in my opinion, worth the $20 savings. There was nothing wrong with the Eylar. It was simply too small for my Taurus G3C once I added a reflex sight. The next size up from that Eylar case would have been way too big and bulky. After a lot of researching, I discovered the Nanuk 909 which is the perfect size case for a compact/subcompact handgun with an installed optic. Compared to the Eylar, durability feels about the same. The lid on the Nanuk has a built-in stop that keeps the case from tipping backward. The Eylar does not. The foam in the Nanuk is much better quality, too. It will also hold at least 2 magazines and possibly a small box of rounds. Overall, I love it and even bought a 2nd one in a different color (yellow).

Ordered last piece, product's box looks old and dirty but inside was intact and I can't find a single scratch. The case looks good and tough, I hope it will function and last through time. Delivery was prompt. Thank you and kudos to Nanuk and Amazon !

These Nanuk cases are amazing. The price point is low, given the high quality product. Before ordering, be sure the take note of the interior dimensions. Get a piece of paper and draw out the dimensions. Be sure to remove 1" from the dimensions (for foam insert products) to take into account the foam left on the outsides for protection. The pick'n'pluck foam is in 1/2" blocks (1.25 cm) You must take into account leaving at least this much between items. There's hardly anything more fun and satisfying than forming a new case, then putting in all of your gear. It's so cozy. I drive Formula Continental race cars and use these cases for everything, including my GoPro gear.
