I recently bought the KINGULL G9 Drone, and overall, it’s a good product. It comes in a compact carrying case and is lightweight, which makes it easy to transport. Since it weighs under 249g (212g with battery on my scale), I didn’t need to register it with the FAA, which is convenient. Setting it up was fairly simple, and the controls are straightforward enough for beginners. The camera captures clear images, and the adjustable lens and wide-angle view are nice features. The Follow Me mode works as expected and is useful for basic outdoor shots. GPS and Optical Flow help the drone stay stable in the air, and the Auto Return function provides a sense of security. It includes two batteries, which give a combined flight time of around 40 minutes, reasonable for casual use. The brushless motors are relatively quiet and help the drone handle the wind well. The remote control’s screen is helpful for tracking battery level and distance, though the display is basic. The FPV transmission is decent, with only minor lag depending on the environment. Features like point of interest and waypoint flight modes function fine, but aren’t especially advanced. It folds up nicely and fits easily in the included case, making it convenient for travel. This drone won’t blow you away, but it’s a solid entry-level option for someone just getting started. It delivers enough performance and features to make it worth considering.

Easy to connect and flies well , does not really come home as advertised but gets close. Make sure you are in a big open area because of this. Biggest disappointment is the video quality. Grainy, shakes and vibrants in every frame even when there is no wind. Photos are better but color quality and exposure are not responsive. Iverall I wanted it to film video while on vacation and it is worthless. App is easy to understand, they just need to improve its ability to hover and film while moving. I would return it but I am traveling and not in the USA. (first pic is PHOTO, second is VIDEO). See specs on video resolution - does not film 4K video.

Great starter drone. I love it. Very durable. Had to Replace some props once due to inexperience. Battery packs last ~20 min. Each. I bought 3 extra just in case. Don’t really need. 40 minutes is about all I’ve ever flown thing. Bought 3 yr warranty for 18$, don’t really need. Tough product, can get stuck in trees and keep spinning the props and not destroy itself. Has the auto shutdown feature on controller/good to use. No obstacle avoidance, so not so pricey. All puts away in Nice soft case. Video a little jumpy and not super smooth , depending on wind. Photos great. Not really for Young kids. Need to buy your own TF card, if you want extra memory separate from phone memory. Doesn’t need it to take pic or vids. Of course needs good gps, so desert areas maybe not so good. Doesn’t NEED gps to fly, but great for wind correction and rth home auto function on loss of power or, connection.

Edit: I found the issue. It is a design spec issue. In the battery compartment the leads specifically the positive leads that should make contact with the battery do not extend out far enough and so based up on the battery used the controller may or may not receive power from the battery. This was the problem that I was having.Controller was dead when it arrived. It never worked. I changed the batteries multiple times.Gene itself seemed to have some life to it, but it’s no use without the control controller.
