So I am ultimately pretty happy with my purchase although it's a little pricey for what you're getting. I had to remove the hardware underneath and screw in the legs applying pressure to the metal pieces to get 2 of the legs on. It was also a bit wobbly and I find it hard to believe it will hold the weight it claims to be able to hold. The drawers do open and close easily. Basically it's a 3 star item but I'm giving it 4 stars because it looks so damn good! The design is retro & fun & sleek. I give it a whole extra star because it looks great just like the photo. This table is garbage. Two of the legs were warped badly enough, that it wouldn't sit flat, one foot was an inch off the ground at best, so the drawers wouldn't stay shut. The legs also have a splotchy finish, with visible drips (pictured.)I hadn't assembled it until after Amazon's return period expired, so I figured I'd make the best of it and install a shim under two legs to even it up. I noticed that the screws attaching the leg plates were extremely short, so I installed slightly longer ones on the legs I shimmed. That fixed the problem well enough, but about a month later, one of the other legs (with the original short screws) pulled out, and the entire thing collapsed. I never got a chance to put anything in or on the table, but I'm sure it wouldn't have supported any weight at all.Post-mortem reveals that the case is made out of hardboard or something similar, rather than the claimed "Walnut, Wood," only the legs are real wood (though almost certainly not walnut.) Not a big surprise that the screws wouldn't hold in that material, but I didn't expect it to make the skin on my arm react with a hive when I came in contact with the unfinished edge while carrying it to the trash. What a piece of junk.

I loved the value of this piece and the look of it. It was very easy to assemble but when the drawers are full they keep opening on their own so we had to install child locks to keep it from happening. The other issue is that the "wood" facade gets damaged very easily. My Husband placed a Bath and body works scent plug in on the top and it caused a weird discoloration.

This isn't really a case of 'you get what you pay for' as the asking price is still pretty competitive, but its just cheaply made, perhaps on the level of the cheaper Target furniture. Worse, there's no piece of wood between the drawers which just makes it look unfinished. It looks fairly cheap-ish in person as well due to the finish and super soft wood its made out of. Mine has a chip in a spot I consider overly visible and if doing a return wasn't such a pain I'd do it, but I'm just going to live with it instead. I'm not sure if I recommend this unless its deeply discounted. Its certainly nice looking but not if its next to a better finished item nor do I expect it to last very long. I would see it tucked away in a hallway but not as the statement piece its trying to be.

For $160, I really have no complaints. The only assembly required was to twist in the legs. One leg has a little blemish (in photo) but I just put it to the back. It's slightly wobbly but everything about it works perfectly. The desk is true to the photos and the drawers work great. Definitely recommend for this price range.

I love it but for the price I was expecting it to be in better condition. It had a few stains, some of which came off. The quality is not bad but could be better. I’ve o ku had it for less than a week so I’m hoping it will last awhile. It is beautiful and a great size for any area in your home. Also super easy to assemble since you only have to add the legs. The drawer don’t stay close fully and I am not sure if it’s because the floor is not leveled up.

This is not worth even $50. One of the drawers does not stay shut, the wood material is thin and flimsy & a laptop & notebook do not fit on top. Too small for a child let alone adult.

Horrible. This is not worth 160$ ... more like $95 or LESS! The legs were not constructed correctly. Wobbles feels like it’s going to tip over.
