Easy Install.... Zero issues.
I installed this as a MASTER valve to ensure no water is in my lines when the system is not in use. Saves water IF I have a leak (and I did last month) that cost me $400 for a water leak in my irrigation line. Great deal as a leak detector is about $150-$450. $18.00 does almost the same thing.

Trombone Candy Cannon Halloween
Used this as a valve for a potato cannon (Actually, a candy cannon for halloween.) It was tripped by a button with a 9v battery. It was really funny because it sounds like the world's loudest trombone blast when the compressed air flies through the valve. Candy + trombone = super fun. You know you want to go make one now.

Perfect replacement
Did the job perfectly! We now have our sprinklers back just in time for watering season. You need to know basic pvc plumbing connections, but Im sure YT can help with that.

Great price. I did not need to replace the entire valve body, only the top part. It worked great.

They seem rugged. One of the four I ordered was missing a bolt.
Rainbird needs to have better QA because one of the four valves I ordered was missing a bolt that keeps the top on. It doesn't seem to be a problem right now.However, my bigger problem is that one of them leaks from the input side. These are threaded and I did use Teflon tape on the mating connector. The leaking is minimal, but I don't want to undo it for fear of compromising the plastic on plastic NPT threads. So, I guess I will get some plumbers putty.I wish there was more than two connection options for these valves. I also wish the connectors were something beyond bare wire. Perhaps some kind of waterproof quick connector. Because the semi waterproof wire nuts make for a rats' nest pretty quickly.

Perfect replacement.
These have been a great replacement for valves that have failed. They are the same model and size as the ones that I had. The symptom was that the diaphragm would not always close, leaving the station running. I suspect the diaphragm, but replacing the top half of the valve and the solenoid was not much more expensive -- and it fixed the problem first time.

I always buy these
An excellent basic valve. Although you can buy the solenoid and diaphragm components for a faulty unit, it's not really worth messing with ... so I just replace the whole thing. Don't forget plumbing tape for a nice water-tight seal.
