WHIMZEES Dog Treat, Variety Box, Small, 48 per pack

Before I go any further, yes I bought these for a hamster. He's not a good chewer, I tried literally everything, wood, sisal, flavoured softwood, hardwood, flavoured hardwood, loofah, wood and peanut butter, wood in fruit juice, nothing, so his teeth were getting a bit worryingly long. Found out that these have the most natural, but least number of ingredients. So I gave it a go, thinking ok, if he likes it the box will last his whole life, if not I can give them to my sister's dogs. He. Loves. Them. Honestly, I handed a toothbrush to him when the box arrived and he couldn't get enough! So hes always got 1-2 in his cage at all times. His teeth are fine, he's happy, and I won't have to spend a fortune on dental vet bills 😁 so ok, I can't comment for dogs, but if anyone is looking for a long lasting hamster chew 100% buy these!

Firstly both my dogs love(d) these. I only buy the small size but they are interesting, tasty and keep them occupied for a good while in the evening.However, whilst my larger dog (SpanielX weighing 12kg) copes very well with them, my little one (toy size at 6kg) has managed to dislocate her jaw on one. She’d had several before with no trouble so I agree this was a bit of a fluke accident but bear in mind these things, tho vegetable, are quite hard and a little mouth crunching at the wrong angle can cause a problem. So my opinion on these is whilst bigger dogs can happily enjoy these, find something else for little dogs to chew.

Good as a snack and far better than a dentastick alternative. Just remember to cut down main meal quantity a little if giving every day to avoid a porky pup lolCan upset some bellies initially but most dogs seem OK with them.

My dog has always loved these, so much so that sometime after he has had his dinner he will always go over to his cupboard of treats and give me puppy dog eyes until I give him one. They don’t touch the sides when he eats them.I also like the box it comes in. Very useful for keeping them closed away and fresh and easy to open like a hatch to get one out.

My miniature dachshund ’Dash’ loves these, but prefers the toothbrushes over the crocs, so it great to see I can buy just toothbrushes so my friends dog ‘Lucy’ can have the crocs because she loves them. Great product & good value for money.
