Nice board with a great screen
Pros:Lots of good code examples and documentation (search for Waveshare ESP32-C6 1.47” display)Powerful board with WiFi, BLE, RGB LED and a beautiful screenWorks well with the Arduino IDEScreen is compatible with multiple standard graphics libraries (the recommended one is LVGL, but I used Adafruit GFX for simplicity)The M2 screw standoffs make mounting this into projects a breezeCons:Compiling/uploading code is slow (60 seconds for even a basic sketch)Not much user input; no touchscreen, IMU or buttons

Good entry level dev board
This ESP32-C6 development board is a great way to explore the world GUI development for imbedded devices. LVGL is awesome but there is a bit of a learning curve for beginners. I do wish there was more memory and an external PSRAM chip, this is particularly important for graphical designs. This should suffice for most hobbyists though. The RGB background also adds a really nice touch to the design.

Very clear resolution for such a small screen
Awesome little screen and board. Easy to program.

Sweet little board with good support
This is a fun board to develop on. I love the ESP32 series and this is not my first C6. I really, really like that this board comes with a microSD slot for storing graphics (and things like audio, or whatever else you might need for your project). There's a lot of documentation around the web, once you get things going, there's so much you can do with this.

No documentation included
This is a nice, compact wireless enabled board, but takes a little work to get up and running. If you are a beginner, I would pass on this board. You should have some experience with different dev boards and working through problems to get a board up and running. The board itself is not a touch screen, and does not have any buttons, (it does have boot and reset buttons that may be able to be repurposed) so if you plan on needing some interaction, then plan for some hardware buttons to be wired up to the GPIO pins. The easy power connection is the USB-C connector. If you want a cleaner look then you can go to the header pins to power the board. The package consists of just the board and the solder on header pins. You need your own USB-C data cable to get it connected to a computer. There are no schematics or layout information, so you don't even know which IO the LEDs are connected to without some research. The board itself is set up on the Arduino IDE. It's a board made by Waveshare, and if you go to their website and search for "ESP32-C6-LCD-1.47" you will find a QuickStart page. There are additional documents here describing the hardware. The demo file on this page appears to be the test application pre-loaded on the hardware.Follow along the Arduino IDE setup steps on this page, and not on the Arduino development environment if you are new to Arduino. Take care to define your project directory correctly. The example also uses an older LVGL library, so watch out there too.

Decent Documentation
This is a really neat module and I really want to figure out a project for it, the documentation is all there but the limitation of having to plug the USB in one direction makes it difficult to find a use for, I would have loved to have seen a reversable USB.

Clear display
This is great for the tinkerer. The display is clear and vibrant. You'll need to know what you are doing to get started with this. They give you a great getting started tutorial with Arduino IDE.The built-in RGB is nice, but really not all that important to me. My project is to get this to pretend to be a remote control that sends commands to my projector. It's ambitious, but totally doable.

Feature-Packed ESP32-S3 Board with Vibrant Display
This ESP32-S3 microcontroller board is a fantastic platform for a wide range of projects. The integrated 1.47-inch LCD display with 262K RGB color delivers vibrant and crisp visuals, while the powerful dual-core processor (up to 240MHz) ensures smooth performance. The support for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) makes it ideal for IoT applications, and the onboard RGB LED and multiple peripheral interfaces provide ample opportunities for customization and expansion. I've been impressed with its versatility and capabilities.
