Great for day time riding, but may be too dark for night riding
Product discription was spot on. I installed it to my wife's HJC-17 clear shield. Installation was easy and her shield fogging up problem was eliminated.

Not worth it.
Leaves a 1/2 inch gap around the clear visor. Very distracting when you ride. Gave half my money back. Beware!

I bought this for my HJC helmet. It fits well and does help with fogging. That being said, it's not totally immune and I did get some mild fogging on a particularly wet and humid morning, I was hoping this would be a cure-all for driving at night and during the daytime with the dark fog insert... but the tint isn't all that dark (think a medium set of sunglasses), and in the mornings, the gap of clear visor at the top above the pinlock (at it's highest setting), still typically leaves the sun shining in my eyes.Overall it does work though, and it's not super expensive, and it does offer some options when driving at multiple times of the day, so it's okay.

Does the job
The pinlock insert installs rather easy and has a good amount of tint for sunny days. I have not experienced and fogging issues since I installed it. Only complaint I can think of would be the price.

The solution you're looking for!
Exhale as hard as you want, you're not going to fog your lense! I ride from early spring to nearly winter, it's really cold sometimes and my visor never fogs over! Never need to leave my visor open to prevent fogging, these work! Use this with a smoked lense for added sun protection.

This is the second one I've gotten for my helmets the first one finally got all scratched up from cleaning and remove and replace.. it fits perfect will help with the Sun doesn't distort my view or anything these are recommend if anybody has the pin locks on their Shields

needs to cover more of the visor with the HJ17
It doesnt cover the entire visible portion of the facemask, so theres a little window across the top that isnt shaded. Which of course is where the sun likes to sneak in, and then reflects off the inside of the pinlock/visor causing some visibility issues.
