I bought the 30” one for my bathroom and it’s the right size to sit on and put towels/clothes on. It is sturdy and well made, and the cross pattern on the bottom adds a nice touch. It looks like it would be very heavy, but it is not, so it’s easy to move around. It comes stained but I don’t think it was varnished — it’s supposed to be rustic looking so that’s probably why. However, because I’m using it in the bathroom I put a layer of varnish on it and it really brought out the lovely wood tones. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to you.

This is a cute little bench for outside my front entry. It has a bit of a farmhouse, rustic look. It was simple to assemble.

Feels solid and looks great. After I assembled the first one I immediately bought a second one. I use them in the family dining room. They look great next to my IKEA wooden table creating a very warm, old-fashioned atmosphere. They also fit right under the table, so that when not in use they take up very little space. Highly recommended.
