Mine was not as pictured. The actual can I received does not say 100% pure gum spirits. I will be returning.

Works great for stripping paint from old tools and stuff, so you can repaint them. Probably works well for cleaning paintbrushes

I've never used it that way. On the contrary, I've used it to strip some finishes I didn't want, stain, (Maybe laquer,) and seal rub it out...and wax.. This is a good solvent. Bud
