Q: Does this work on surfaces other than a desk or solid work surface? Or on a glass tabletop??

I only use it on my desk at work but I love it. It glides across my desk with ease & is very quiet, a soft click, I would call it. :)

Hi there, sorry to disappoint you, the buttons are not programmable.

Q: Can you change the auto-sleep settings from 60s to a greater amount of time?

I don’t think so. Unless there is an option in settings for the mouse.
