I used this product to reduce scaring after a myomectomy to remove a 4 pond fibroid and my uterus by C-section. My surgeon did a remarkable job with my incision, but I still had a few knobs of tissue along the scar as I healed. I started using the silicone strip after my 2 week post-op visit simply because I didn't want to mess with anything before my doctor checked how I was healing.The photo here is exactly 5 weeks after my surgery. but my scar has looked like this from day 4 of wearing the strip. I also only wore the strip for 6 hours for the first and second day, and only during the day for the first week because my skin felt a bit sore when removing the strip (but not painful). Applying and removing the strip is simple, and painless.I wear the strip day and night and remove only to bathe. Washing the strip with mild soap and water is easy. I gently rub off the sticky surface with mild liquid soap (body wash or hand soap), using my finger tips and rinse under a gently stream of cool water from the faucet. I am still wearing the same strip because it washes well (following the instructions), and it is as good as the first day still.The strip is very easy to apply, and remove. You can readjust it as much as you like with ease. It is comfortable and feels like nothing is there. The longest one fit my scar perfectly, but I can easily place shorter pieces together to cover my scar.The only challenge you might have is blowdrying the strip. What I do is hold it over my four fingers so I can use my thumb to stablize it. I first dry the non-sticky side by placing it on a sheet of paper towel. I then dry the sticky side over my fingers, with a gentle flow of warm air (not hot), held at a distance that does not cause the strip to move too much. I blowdry one half of the sticky side then turn the strip on my fingers to dry the other half of the sticky side.This product is easy to use and reuse. But most importantly it works, and it is affordable.A great product, simple and effective. I'm glad I got it, because I do scar from cuts and scrapes, so this made a big difference for me.

These things are crazy good. I had Mohs surgery on my forehead in June and between these strips and sunscreen ( & the plastic surgeon's work was excellent) you'd never know there was ever a big old hole there. I wore this the first week after I could stop wearing bandaids (7 weeks post op) and the pink shade was dramatically reduced and with my tinted sunscreen, it was gone. The scar tissue depuffed in a matter of a week. I wore it every day and just put foundation over the strip. I wore it to bed too if I didn't roll it off by accident when taking my shirt off. I did this for about 3 weeks. I got lazy and haven't used them for the last 2 weeks because it looked so good. But I decided to start up again last night since I bought a second pack. I could not believe the improvement in one night. I thought I was imagining it! It looks as though it is perfect skin again with a teeny little white line. I am going to keep this up at night until I finish the pack. I may start using this on wrinkles too! No seriously. I am going to try this on my lips! I will get some pics up here soon.

I am grateful that this Scar out is working, so I feel to help others out there embarrassed about a scar and to help the seller that actually has a product that works, I will write a review. I depend on reviews for the real truth and sometimes I am skeptical if they are legit but hopefully you will intuit that my review is real and true. I have an embarrassing scar, actually thought I might need to someday pay to get it fixed surgically...but I've heard of silicone strips to heal scars and figured I should at least try. My scar is 5 months old and I was able to tolerate putting the sticky silicone patch on my skin right away for 24hours a day. I have worn it for 3 weeks, 24hrs a day, excluding showers, and have already noticed approximately a 30% reduction in appearance( less red/striated looking) and maybe half its size. My scar is approx 1 inch x 1/2 inch size.At this rate I am sure it will disappear in 6 weeks. There's an explanation as to how it works, which doesn't make sense but who cares for some reason it does. So many products out there make claims to perform some action and we lose money which is so infuriating because sellers are happy to just make money ripping off people with one time purchases, but if you faithfully apply this scar sheet and give it time, you will see results. 4 stars for now until I can give it time to see if it completely goes away.
