Mounts new seat to original hardware
Worked to mount new seat for my John Deere 345 ser # above 70k. Just had to cut rod from original seat about three inches and cut a slot for the snap ring to lock onto the bar. I used a drill and a portaband to cut it and notch a circular slot to get clip to lock on.

Hard to fit.
Just that getting a bracket that fits not only the seat mfg.( not a John Deere ) , but also the spacing for my John Deere GT tractor . did not work and was forced to return it . For others it may or may not work, one just has to try . Ended up having to custom make one . Other than that it was well made , just wasn't the right fit .

Did work but my rod is too long
The seat bracket is ok but my seat took a long rod.

Excellent match to aftermarket seats.
Seat bolts screwed right into the aftermarket JD replacement seat. I pushed the pivot rod through and I am now in the lawn mowing business! This product should be linked with the aftermarket seat as I had to buy it separate to make it work for me.
