It's venom, and booksoutlet1 delivers again!
It's venom what more can I say... This review is more about the vendor, booksoutlet1. I have ordered numerous books for my son and I have to say every book like this has been brand new. In mint condition, never opened. Shipping has been fast, wish I could combine orders to get better shipping prices, other then that I have been extremely pleased.

One of the greatest chapters in Venom History
*MY OPINION* One of the greatest chapters in Venom History.. Venom (2016) Issue 1-6 Homecoming is what every Venom fan wants in a comicBook, everthing in this book is perfect, the inverted roles in the Venom relationship, Eddie Brock's appearance, Spider Man's appearance.. just buy it, You WON'T regret it! This comic book will be what people will be talking about next year when the Venom Solo Movie comes out, just pure awesomeness, what follows this "Homecoming" storyline is even more awesome! EXCELSIOR!

[update just finished]The book definitely gets better after the 3rd or 4th issue. I'm not going to say it's perfect, but maybe you will like it. I really like how we get to see some of Venom the symbiote perspective. However I feel cheated by not experiencing it with Eddie Brock. I don't know what to expect from him and I can't judge if I want to read more or not.I haven't finished it yet, but my initial impressions are underwhelming. The artwork is the biggest highlight of the book so far. The dialogue and story however make me cringe at times. The dialogue seems geared towards children. They really should have went with a more mature approach to the character. He is an anti-hero and anti-heroes sometimes do terrible things. I don't understand the senseless censorship of curse words only to see someone have his arm ripped off in another page. I just don't understand who the target audience is. I absolutely love Venom, but I don't think I'm a fan of Marvel comics.

Four issues of garbage, then a return to greatness
It's still debated whether or not the return of Eddie Brock as Venom, was always the endgame of the first six issues of this volume or Marvel breaking glass in full on panic after Mike Costa's new Venom was soundly rejected by fans of the character. But regardless, after ten plus years, Eddie Brock is once again Venom. The first two-thirds revolve around Lee Price, who bonds with the Venom symbiote (who was detached from Flash Thompson off-panel) and behaves like a one-dimensional crazy pants killer. Price is a horrible character, which makes one again, suspect a clear audible was called when Eddie Brock returns and reclaims the symbiote in Venom #5-6.Sadly, the book doesn't have much of Eddie in action in the symbiote. But for fans who've had to suffer through the INO Flash Thompson version of Venom and Scorpion as Venom the mass murdering cannibal, it's a moment of joy. And thankfully, Costa has shown himself quite competent in writing Eddie, which makes the entire decision to waste the first four issues on Price, all the more of a waste of issues.

Amazing start to a new Venom series
Amazing start to a new Venom series! I honestly gained an appreciation for "Agent Venom" but I am definitely all Eddie Brock's return.
